Ski & hike White Mt Natl Forest! Minutes from Waterville Valley, Loon & more
Welcome to our mountain hideaway! Quiet and nestled in the White Mts of New Hampshire, it’s located just a few miles off I-93, minutes from ski resorts, hiking trails, and lovely lakes for paddling and fishing. Waterville Valley resort is 6 miles away; Loon, Tenney Mt, Gunstock, Cannon Mts and other ski resorts within 45 minutes or less. Walk to Welch-Dickey trailhead and experience a strenuous but “must do” hike with beautiful views of granite outcropping. A short walk to the loops of Smartsbrook Trail. Within 30-45 minute drive from Woodstock, the challenging Franconia Notch and Kancamagus Hwy, explore Echo Lake, Artist Bluff, Bald Mt, or find the bike trail that intersects the Appalachian Trail.
At the condo, enter through the door using a keypad (contact-less check-in). The main floor has a loaded upgraded kitchen, snack bar, dining area, living room with leather furniture and plenty of visiting space, and deck overlooking wooded backyard. Families can enjoy board games, puzzles and card games (provided) in the living room. Sofa/ chaise lounge converts to an extra twin size bed. TV is located over the fireplace and Roku gives access to many apps. Use your own Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu login to access these types of apps. Local news, weather, etc. are available. Internet/WiFi passwords are provided.
Kitchen has black “ leather texture” granite countertops, soft close cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and plenty of utensils, dishes, cookware, glassware for entertaining or family meals. Dining room table has 4 chairs that expands to seat 6 (2 additional chairs at snack bar). Table linens are located in cabinet below table top.
Sit on the quiet back deck overlooking a wooded area with your morning coffee listening to the birds. Coffee service includes Cuisinart drip coffee or Keurig K-cup (both types of coffee plus tea provided). All necessary cleaning products, dishwasher soap, dish detergent and paper products are provided.
The upper floor has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus laundry room. Laundry soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and bar soap provided. And of course, all towels and bed linens. In the master bedroom, sink into a cozy Memory Foam mattress that adjusts to your shape. Extra pillows and blankets provided. Warm your towels in the towel warmer (stored in the bathroom cupboard) for use after shower. Let us know if you prefer cool cotton or cozy flannel linens and we’ll have the beds ready for you!
During the warmer months, the pool is open for swimming (at your own risk) towards the back of the townhome complex. My grandsons loved riding bikes to the field and climbing the apple trees across from the pool (sounds corny, but this is “ for real”!)
I, the owner, send you directions and keypad code a few days prior to arrival and often, early entry and late checkout are available. I also send a few more photos so that you recognize the driveway turn, the unit and which door to enter. Inside is a notebook loaded with local emergency contact info, local area restaurant menus (with recommendations from me!), notes on where to rent ski equipment, brochures on “Things to do” in the area for all ages and the like. It’s a lovely area, quiet and yet, just 6 miles from Waterville Valley where there is wonderful skiing, hiking and places to explore.
NOTE: both bedrooms and both bathrooms are on upper floor and require the use of stairs to access which may be difficult if you have limited mobility (stair handrails are available however).
It’s an honor to be sharing my place with you, Blessings, Donna

Our one month stay at Donna’s place was fantastic! Very spacious, clean, and everything we needed was there. Donna and Alex were very responsive to any questions we had and wonderful to deal with! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
The townhouse was exactly as listed. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything we needed. The living room furniture was comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck. The bed was very comfortable. Donna was very friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had.
Rented the condo for use during ski season. Unit was very clean and well appointed. Close to ski resort and restaurants. Property owner was responsive and checked in multiple times during our stay. Highly recommend.
Our family of four had an amazing weeklong vacation at this well-appointed condo in the White Mountains of NH. The condo has seen some nice upgrades and is well equipped with everything that we needed for our trip, including a nice reading nook that both of our boys really enjoyed. We especially appreciated the close proximity to Waterville Valley and spent many relaxing evenings at the lovely condo after long days of skiing.
The host was amazing before, during, and after our visit. Communication was perfect and Donna really went out of her way to make sure we had a great visit -- and we did. We highly recommend this condo, and the White Mountains, to any family.
Perfect Launching Off Point for the White Mountains
We had a terrific stay at the condo! The space has lots of light, plenty of fun games and puzzles, books to read, not to mention very comfortable beds. The owner was very helpful when we were planning the trip, and the house binder is full of good tips, which is another sign of how thoughtful she is. It really exceeded our expectations! We did numerous hikes, and had a great time checking out the White Mountain attractions. We are already planning to go back to this gem of a condo for each of the seasons. I HIGHLY recommend this for a family or some friends who want to take advantage of all that the White Mountains has to offer.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about our six week stay here. My daughter and I came to New Hampshire to escape the Texas summer, and this condo did not disappoint. Donna has thought of everything a family could possibly need to make a home away from home. The condo was immaculately clean, well-organized, adorably decorated, and super comfortable.
Directions to locate the property and check in were provided well in advance of our arrival and helped everything to go smoothly. The condo is set in a beautiful spot, close to several great hiking trails and a river that we greatly enjoyed wading and playing in almost every day. It was nice to feel like we were in a peaceful and secluded area, but still have a few grocery stores and restaurants within 20 minutes drive. The location is an excellent home base for everything the White Mountains region has to offer. We look forward to returning in the future and highly recommend Donna’s property to anyone looking to visit the area.
Nicely furnished condo. Do not recommend for elderly as it has steep narrow staircases both leading into and going to second floor. Both bathrooms are on the second floor with the bedrooms. We had no cell reception in this and the area surrounding but were able to use Wi-Fi calling while at the condo. Condo backs up to woods which was peaceful but deck joins next condo; however no one was there while we were. Books, cards, and games available. Plenty of seating in living room which has a large tv with some streaming services. Apartment sized washer and dryer located on second floor with two bedrooms (1 King & 1 queen).
We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 week stay in the White Mountains. The townhouse was tastefully, and comfortably, decorated and was well equipped with everything needed. The location is peaceful and private. The host was quick to respond to any questions we may have had during booking and during our stay. We enjoyed several nearby hiking experiences and the townhouse is located a short distance from major highways enabling quick access for traveling to other areas. Put this gem at the top of your list, you will not be disappointed.

About the host
Hosted by Donna Wilde
Thank you for looking at my listing. I love the mountains and am happy to share my mountain home with you. I purchased it to be closer to my daughter and her family who live in Plymouth NH. While my primary residence is outside Buffalo near Niagara Falls, I frequently visit with my grandsons and enjoy hiking and skiing with them, especially at Loon and Waterville Valley. Fall is lovely here- the leaves turn vivid colors and can be seen while hiking or just walk around the condo property. So this is the perfect spot for family fun and outdoor activities any season.
Why they chose this property
Why did I buy THIS property? After looking in the South where my son lives, I prayed the dear Lord would open the door wide, letting me know where to buy a rental property, one where I could enjoy, that I would want to share with my family and friends, and one close to either of my adult children and my grandchildren. After diligently searching, this condo was an obvious answer to prayer. I loved the upgraded kitchen with soft- close cabinets, the black “ leather-texture” countertops and large living room. Once you enter the main foyer, the condo is up a few stairs. Keypad codes are used for both doors with unique easy to remember codes. It is spacious, contemporary yet cozy. I hope you enjoy as well!
