Price was great but we will not stay there again
The stay was ok but I don’t remember the description saying it was over top of their garage. To my understanding it was private but it wasn’t. Nobody bothered us but the description was not fully addressed. The bed was very comfortable but that’s all I was impressed with considering the price. We won’t be staying again.
Everything was clean. The beds were comfortable enough. Plenty of supplies for our 3 day visit
The only complaint is paying a cleaning fee then being told the check out procedure was the clean it ourselves. Take out the trash, wipe up the counter tops, do all dishes & gather up all the towels and take to bathroom and place in hamper. Now I do that stuff anyway but I don’t think you should have to pay a cleaning fee if you have to do it yourselves. So I think it should be pay a cleaning fee or clean it yourself. Not both
This place was perfect for our trip! We bathed and slept here and would do it again! Perfectly located for exploring the countryside or the city. Simply can’t thank you enough for sharing your property with us out of towners. Thank you so much!!!!

Overall a great place for the price!
The property was nice and you can’t beat the price. It was pretty easy to find and not far from the pigeon forge strip. Some of the furniture is dated and it does have a window air conditioner instead of central heat and air. The window above the air conditioner doesn’t have a curtain but my wife and I just put something there during our stay for privacy. The parking situation is a little limited. Could be difficult for people with more than two cars and anything bigger than a midsize suv. This place is essentially an apartment over the owners garage which they use but wasn’t an issue for my wife and I. The owners were friendly and didn’t bother us during our stay.
Place was ok for a little studio place. They do not dust under or on top of stuff other then the counter and dressers. So expect a lot of dust in and under your bed, on top of frig., and rolling over the ceiling fan blades, and cob webs going from wall to wall. If you like to party be very careful on the steps and pathway, it’s very uneven and has a good dip at the corner. If you want to cook bring your own griddle etc. as it says nothing more then a microwave and toaster. Great location. Not secluded at all, houses within 100 feet of you. Just because you can’t see through the weeds perfectly doesn’t make it secluded.
I was extremely satisfied with the home. The location is perfect & we will be staying here again. The bed was very comfortable, we loved the natural light from the windows and the black out curtains were perfect to sleep in :)
Getting there the first time (after dark) was a little sketchy; but, it was convenient to coasters for my grandsons and provided easy access to Teaster and the car show.
Great location. On a mountain, not far up, but road is windy, which is expected. Kids love the WiFi. Coffee pot, small, but adequate for 2 adult coffee drinkers. Beds comfy. Parking is a bit tight, but fine for one vehicle. Nice and quiet, slightly off the beaten path. I would recommend it.
Great place and would recommend. It is kinda tucked away but very close to everything. The place is very clean and I value that a lot. It is small but has two beds and is great for a couple or small family. The owner is great. Be sure to park where it clearly states so you don’t block the garage…I kinda missed it the night I arrived e but the owner was cool about it and sent a gentle reminder of on it. Just a word of advice about the entire area around there…traffic is pretty bad so plan for it. I will stay here next time I plan to hike in the smokies!!!
This is our second time staying here. It is clean, comfortable and very convenient to Pigeon Forge but off the busy main street. We will be staying here again.
Black Wolf Lodge is in a quiet wooded area close to the parkway in Pigeon Forge. We were very pleased with the relaxing atmosphere and slept well. We hope to stay here again.
Clean, comfortable and a good location. Listing is very accurate. Owner was very helpful and sent very specific directions the day before our stay. We will stay here again.
It was a cozy little place. I wouldn't recommend it if you have struggles with stairs. If you plan to cook, bring a large bowl, a plastic spatula, a good sized pan and a pot. The grill can handle heating them just fine.
Everything else was fantastic. The little bose speaker was well used for our stay.
Everything was top notch with the stay, the extra directions helped a lot because it was a little challenging to find after dark and up the mountain road!
