3BR/3BA lakeside home w/ Nantucket styling, wraparound deck + views galore! Walls of French windows. Vaulted ceilings. Double-sided stone (gas) fireplace. Kitchen has hi-end appliances, granite tops. Upscale-cozy furniture thruout. Main floor has 2 BRs w/ Queen beds. Large loft has 4 twins. Finished basement has King bed + common area w/ Smart TV (TV also in loft + LR). All 3 full BAs are stylish. Hot tub, patio + firepit. Near both St. Joseph + New Buffalo galleries, shops, more!

THE SPACE
Come relax, recline and refresh at the Coastal Cottage, a breathtaking 3000 sq. ft., 3BR/3BA lakeside home, featuring Nantucket styling, a huge wraparound deck, magnificent views looking out walls of artistic French windows & doors, vaulted ceilings and a gorgeous, double-sided stone (gas) fireplace.

Kitchen highlights include high-end wood-and-glass cabinetry, granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. Furnished “upscale cozy” throughout, the spacious living room is drenched in light, as is the dining room, complete with a comfortable wooden dining table.

The main floor has two bedrooms with queen beds. The large loft area has 4 twin beds (easily sleeping 8) and the finished basement level has a King-sized bed and a cool common area featuring a “smart” large-screen Roku TV, couch, stuffed chairs and a butcher block coffee table. “Smart” Roku TVs are also in the upstairs loft and in the main floor living room. Each of the 3 full baths uses stylish amounts of glass, granite, steel and white painted cabinetry.

The entire property is beautifully landscaped and secluded, with a hot tub and circular sandstone outdoor patio and firepit overlooking Lake Michigan, perfect for relaxing at sunset. Conveniently located near both St. Joseph and New Buffalo, each of which are rich with art galleries, boutique shops, fine restaurants and the best of Midwestern culture. The Coastal Cottage’s “Extra Bonus”? A private wooden deck literally on the lake with chaise lounges and a large bistro table. Chardonnay, anyone?

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing a vacation travel insurance policy if you suspect that you will need to cancel your vacation.

Please note that the Coastal Cottage does not have access to a private beach and swimming out front of the home is not recommended due to the rocky shoreline.

For guests that would like to bring pets we agree that pets are part of the family, and we welcome up to 2 dogs here. All pets must be authorized at time of booking - email us immediately for pet approval if you plan to bring your dog.

Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or outs on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.

Spectacular Lake Michigan views, superb property, helpful hosts!

All conditions and amenities were in place for a spectacular getaway for our large family. From the spacious house, to the tranquility of Lake Michigan, and the nearby lighthouse beaches all within 30 minutes drive, we had a wonderful time! Highly recommend this property!

Great Place on the lake

7 adults stayed for 3 nights. Wonderful place! I have already recommended it to friends in St. Joe who need an extra place for guests. Only thing is that there is no beach access and finding it was very tricky.

Fantastic Stay on Lake Michigan

Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend here in early November. The cottage is spacious and clean with tremendous views of Lake Michigan. Don’t miss the sunsets- they are spectacular! Fun sitting around the large gas fireplace too. Great working with the staff at Juniper Holiday and Home- the cookies and wine were a nice touch and much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing property, everything went well, great location. I would suggest maybe a picture of the actual rocky shoreline, just so people know what to expect. Still great for swimming and paddle boarding if you have the legs to get in and out!

This property is managed by a great company. They were extremely friendly and responsive. The house is well equipped, comfortable and clean. The views are beautiful, especially from the deck by the water. It’s about a 20 minute drive into town but if that doesn’t bother you, this property is great!

We spent a beautiful long weekend at this rental. There are not many rentals that allow pets so it was a sweet surprise that this one did. The dogs loved running up and down the front yard and taking long walks. I highly recommend this rental.

This home has gorgeous views of Lake Michigan. The house itself has several sitting areas which is perfect for several couples or families to spread out. No expense was spared on linens, towels, or any of the furnishings. There are beautiful views from every room. A great time was had by all!

This house is fantastic! It's big, well-appointed, and really cozy. The above-shore deck provides amazing water views, and the sunsets are brilliant. Everything was as described, or better. We also really appreciated being deep in the woods, yet so close to Warren Dunes, wineries, breweries, and all other services. The dog-friendly policy was really appreciated!

Stunning Lake Michigan Views

We enjoyed this beautiful home so much! Plenty of room to spread out and very cozy for together time. The house was very clean and well stocked. There’s no road noise, only a couple of neighbors and that left us to focus on the beauty of our surroundings. There were a few minor things at the beginning of our stay, but the management team handled it quickly and were so pleasant to work with! I would stay here again and again!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We celebrated my brothers birthday here and it was the perfect lake house! It was a short 1.5 hour car ride from Chicago and was so relaxing hearing the sounds of the waves & the seeing views of the lake. The place was very clean and had more than enough towels / blankets/ etc. for our group of 10! We had a storm pass through that impacted our Wi-fi and the property managers handled it with care and communicated efficiently.
