My apartment is a little gem. It is a walk-through, east-west facing, and extraordinarily quiet. The bedroom overlooks a garden with a children's play area. The living room offers an exceptional view of all of Paris, particularly the Sacré-Cœur. The sunsets are stunning. Entirely designed and renovated by an architect, it is both extremely functional, optimized, and of great beauty. The materials are top-notch. There are plants and artworks everywhere.

I live in the Gambetta-Jourdain-Ménimontant neighborhood, famous for its quality of life (and its food shops!). This family-friendly neighborhood is remarkably warm, quiet, and safe. It is full of excellent and pleasant bars and restaurants. It is an artistic hub, with numerous concert halls, bookstores, and galleries.
Across from the apartment, the Square des Saint-Simoniens has a playground for children. The apartment is 10 minutes by line 11 from the heart of Paris (Jourdain => Châtelet). Two bus lines, 200 meters away, serve the major department stores and the East and Saint Lazare train stations (line 26), or the Marais, the Latin Quarter, and Montparnasse station (line 96).
Note: The building does not have an elevator, and the apartment, on the fifth floor, is accessible by stairs.
