Cute Little Place
Overall, we were very impressed with this property. Location, cleanliness, and communication with the host couldn’t be beat. We also appreciated how well resourced the site was, including snacks, coffee, ironing board, and labeling of all of the switches. We were surprised that there were no electrical outlets in the primary bathroom, and the pillows were uncomfortable. That being said, great little place and we’d stay here again.

Exactly as advertised
Matched the listing. Cool extras like coffee, fruit, popcorn, and tea. Good sized rooms, nothing seemed too crowded. Even had Roku. Excellent place! 'nuff said.

Wonderfully quaint little home
This is a wonderful little home in the middle of town. There were many amenities available. The fruit and coffee/tea bar was completely unexpected, but truly appreciated. We truly enjoyed the property, however I must admit we spent a lot more time visiting with family in the surrounding area than in the house. Our host was accommodating and responsive. I loved the seasoned cast iron cookware. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a place in the area, and we would absolutely come back. Thank you

Perfect getaway!
We booked this house for a quick getaway with the kids, and it was everything we had hoped for and more. Starting with the hosts Gloria and Tim, they were very responsive to questions, eager to help, and were an absolute joy to deal with. They even provided a play tent for the kids, and offered recommendations for local sites and activities. The house itself was very clean and newly remodeled. There was lots of storage space for clothes and personal items, and consumables were very nice and plentiful. We've certainly stayed at other places where you're on your own after a couple rolls of toilet paper and/or paper towels. Both were in abundance, as well as new boxes of tissues, wood for the fire, and even a basket of fresh fruit. Wifi was provided, and was a very fast connection. It allowed me to get caught up with work in the evenings. It's also notable that there was both heat and air conditioning. Lots of places we've stayed don't have AC, which can be very uncomfortable depending on weather and location. We spent most of our time hiking, playing at the parks, and climbing rocks. It was perfect for the kids, with lots of adventures very nearby. We even got lucky with some snow, which was a nice treat. All in all, I can't say enough about the house and hosts - everything was perfect!

About the host

Hosted by Gloria Lucia Zapata-Elias

Host profile image
We are Tim and Gloria and we make cleaning and hospitality our life (Tim makes raising chickens and other farm animals his passion and I clean for a living)! In 2018 we opened up our very own B&B Inn out of our primary home once our boys grew up and moved out and in 2019 we purchased this home you see. We decided to open it up for those traveling, vacationing, needing a cleaner and less expensive place than a hotel, or just needing a place to relax.

Why they chose this property

Why this property? That's a very good question. When you walk in, you'll notice you'll have just about everything you'll need to make your stay enjoyable. In the restroom you'll have all the restroom necessities (towels, bath and face towels, toilet tissue, shampoo/conditioner, baby wipes, make up mirror, a shower and tub). In all three bedrooms you'll find a queen size bed except in one of the bedrooms where you'll find two queen size beds with dressers, nightstands and lamps. In the living room you won't be cold in the winter because we put in a brand new wood stove with wood for you to enjoy, along with a coffee and tea section we keep stocked at all times to keep you warm on those cold rainy nights. In this home, you won't be hot either because there's a wall air conditioner in the living room, ceiling fans in all the bedrooms and living room and an excess amount of insulation placed in the attic a few months ago. When you wish to bbq, you'll find a portable bbq'er on the back deck and ample amount of space to relax or let the children and animals run around safely because we enclosed the backyard with a 50' fence last year. At night when you sleep, you won't be awoken by police sirens coming and going or parties at all hours of the night. We're not stating it's a Garden of Eden, but you will have an opportunity to rest and recuperate.

What makes this property unique

I think the most unique benefits of this home is you'll have us as your hosts who will be ready and willing to meet your needs as long as we can provide it. We'd love to welcome you in and show you around your new place and then let you be on your way. The best part is we're only 13 minutes away should you need anything!
