This house has an "at home" feel. It's an older home that's been very well cared for. We were close to shops, restaurants, baseball stadium, etc.The Host was EXCELLENT with communication! Without a doubt, we'd visit here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. From the moment we arrived it felt like a home away from home. Exceptionally clean, very well equipped. The host was a great communicator. There is a large fenced yard and a deck overlooking a pretty little lake. We liked it so much that we booked for next year before we checked out! Can’t wait to return next year.

Fantastic Accommodation, would stay there again

Very clean and well appointed accommodation, easy to find and convenient to Lakeland and other areas. The host did a great job with hints and tips on the stay and an easy and safe way to get out of the driveway, very helpful! Catching the morning sunrise each day and seeing (and hearing) the birds and other critters was fantastic and much needed. Very peaceful stay.

House on lake, nice for morning viewing. We were away from the home most of the time but it was a good stay overall. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Comfortable, could use some updating but the great price reflects that. Bring your own hair dryer

House on a lake

Property is conveniently located, a 5 minute ride from a CVS, Publix and assorted restaurants, 10 minute from downtown Lakeland. The house is as shown in the photos. It has a large yard and nice view of Crystal Lake. The host responded immediately to any concerns and had maintenance on site quickly for any issues. The beds were comfortable. There were ample sheets and towels provided.

Good vacation spot

We spent a month at the Crystal Lake Cottage. The house is very nice; well kept; comfortable beds; even provided some paper products. It's a nice neighborhood to walk. We walked over to the university area every day. House is conveniently located near Publix, drug stores, gas stations, and restaurants. There's a small deck looking over the lake. The only downside is pulling out of the driveway. Vision is obstructed and cars are often speeding past the house. Overall, it's a nice house and owner is very responsive to any requests or questions.

To respond to your obstructed vision getting into the road, we have been planing to connect the side drive way with the garage. However, this involves extensive discussions with city highway and zoning department. What a beautiful home with a gorgeous view!!! Everything was fully equipped, anything we needed was just a click couple minutes away or easy to snag on delivery apps. Great neighborhood, we felt incredible safe as a third shift working family new to the Lakeland area trying to figure everything out. The host was incredibly accommodating as well as kind, asy to reach, understanding, and went above and beyond. We have family coming to the area in February and we plan to recommend the same host. It wad amazing to know we could trust the location to be clean, well maintained, and have no issues. We extra appreciated the washer and dryer on sight, all the extras from hand sanitizer to tissues to soap and cleaning supplies, truly they are prepared for anything and any one! Excellent host, amazing home, great housekeeping, and delightful stay close to everything and everyone. It was a delight to sit at the kitchen table and watch fireworks from the local college ball game or for my son-a teen photographer-to get up at 5am and capture gorgeous sunset photos, or the 3am cactus bloom, such amazing memories in a short time. Thank you to the host for sharing this beautiful home. I wish we could add more than 8 photos, we have hubdreds of amazing memories.

Functional and Clean

We were in Lakeland for spring training and this house was very functional for our stay. Two grandparents and boy/girl 17 year old twins. Bedrooms and bathrooms were good for our family. Exit from driveway onto road was pretty difficult due to hedges on left side of driveway. Don’t even consider backing out. Ten minutes to Joker Marchant Stadium was very convenient. Pillows were plentiful but hard for our tastes. No dishwasher, just bug hole under counter. Outside light was continuously coming on and off at night. Cleaners showed up one day early but owner made nice goodwill refund for embarrassment. Certainly not the Taj Mahal but worked well for our visit.
