Welcome to Lagom!

You are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished, two bedroom/ one bath with a shower cottage. One bedroom features one queen sized bed, while the second bedroom is furnished with a full sized bed. The living room features a queen sleeper sofa with an extra padded mattress for comfort. Our cottage will sleep six people comfortably.

The kitchen is perfect for dining as it is equipped with stainless steel appliances, and all of the necessities for cooking. Lagom has all the extras for your entertainment enjoyment, flat screen Smart TV with high speed internet, cable and Netflix available. For the gamer there is an X-Box One provided. We also have a wireless Bluetooth speaker for those of you who love to listen to music but don't want to bring your speaker. The cottage is also equipped with a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Lagom sits one block from Otsego Lake with a boat launch near by . Otsego County State park is 3 miles south. Otsego Lake is a all sports lake with many activities to enjoy, swimming, fishing, kayaking, and boating. It is also steps from the Iron Belle Trail 7 giving you access to thousands of miles of snowmobile trails, hiking and biking. Making this location perfect for all seasons!

Gaylord is the golf Mecca of the Midwest with approximately 30 golf courses within 30 miles. If winter is your thing Lagom sits adjacent to the main snowmobile trails that run through all of Northern Michigan. Home to Treetops Resort and Spa with 81 holes of spectacular golf as well as downhill and cross country ski trails. You will have many choices of excellent restaurants within a few miles or a short drive to town for bars, breweries, shopping and additional dining.

Traverse City is about 1 hour away.

Boyne City is about 30 min away.

Petoskey is about 45 min away.

Clean, cozy and cute!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was in a great location and in a quiet area. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen had all the essentials for preparing our meals when we didn't go to Gaylord for supper. It was a nice comfortable place to relax at after we spent the day cross country skiing and hiking. Would definitely stay here again.

Great little cottage.

Stayed here the week after Christmas for a little getaway with my family of four. Everything we needed for the week was supplied. Location was in a nice place for daily walks with our dog and made it very easy getting around town. Location was also in a great location for getting to all the local ski resorts. Thank you for sharing this cottage. Would not hesitate to return when we visit the area again.

Great small cottage

Loved the communication, cleanliness, amenities. We thought is was great for all that we needed and price was good too. We wished the shower/bathroom was shown in the photos as it was a bit small for what we needed.

Fall getaway

The cottage was cute. Could tell the owners had put a lot into updating. We're not very tech savvy so watching TV was a learning experience. We never did figure out how to watch local news or regular broadcast TV, however did enjoy programming that we do not have access to at home. Only a couple of suggestions, improve lighting, it was very dark in the back yard and over the stove. We also could not find a spacula, but made due. Communication with the owner was excellent!. We would return to this cottage and recommend to friends.
