About this property
Big Lake Cabin with Hot Tub/ Kayaks/ Ping Pong/ HBO
The "Sunshine Cabin" enjoys ample natural sun year around from its lofty position up in the trees. The large picture window overlooking Big Lake provides a birds eye view of both the canopy and lake. This 81’ deep lake has an island and home to many types of fish that's why we brought fishing/recreational kayaks for our guests. The boat launch access is just 1.6 miles from the sunshine cabin. The cabin is secluded on 1.45 acres of trees. This listing is all about the experience.

The home was very clean and well stocked with necessary items ( toiletry & kitchen essentials). The hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of the day. The ping pong table was great entertainment during a rainy day. Would recommend.
The place was very clean and nicely decorated for the holidays. Loved the hot tub and ping pong table. The place was well stocked and the coffee, tea, and cocoa bar was a nice touch.
Beautiful home very close to downtown with a ton of great shopping and eating! This was a perfect getaway for my husband and I to relax after the wedding!Beautiful dark skies allowed us to spend hours looking up :) highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
Everything as described, appreciated that it was clean and everything we needed to use the kitchen was provided. The indoor hot tub was nice since it was in the fall and cold and rainy outside.
We loved our stay. Our dog felt really comfortable and happy too. It was very clean. The host made for a great stay too! We loved the hot tub and fire pit. Beautiful views and very clean. We will be back!!
Kitchen was stocked well along with the bathroom. The property was clean and communication was great with the property owner. The home is located close to town but still far enough away to be quiet and private.
The property was once again a beautiful, relaxing stay. Since our last stop, the owner made some upgrades to the fire ring, which made it even better. We'll be back.
We really enjoyed our stay at this clean and comfortable home in the woods. The hosts did a great job ensuring we had a nice visit to the Gaylord area. We look forward to returning!
Enjoyed the place. Unfortunately the hot tub broke after one use. The host replied quickly, a repair was attempted the next day. I understand things happen, and I appreciate the host’s response. Would recommend this place or host.

Thank you so much for your review. I’m really glad you enjoyed the place and the other amenities. The hot tub has now been fully repaired and is working again. Sometimes equipment can act up unexpectedly, and it’s not something we can control, but we always handle it right away. We truly appreciate your understanding, and we’d love to host you again in the future.
The property is very beautiful, the inside of the cabin was very clean and cozy. I would recommend to anyone and i can see myself coming back in the future. Excellent stay 10/10

What makes this property unique
We have a high ceiling heated garage that is turned into a recreational zone. In the garage, we are adding an indoor hot tub scheduled to be in 08/18/2022 that can be used all the year no matters what the weather outside besides a ping pong table, and corn hole. In the second floor, we have a high vaulted ceiling and the walls in the open space living/dining and kitchen are made from oak wood with its natural wood color and the freestanding gas stove heater the entire place is made to be soothing and relaxing. All the rooms have an individual thermostat so you can set your preferred temperature.
