Located in the heart of coveted Balboa Island, these two homes boast modern interiors combined with a quaint seaside theme, making this the perfect place for you and your family/guests to relax, reconnect, and recharge during your seaside interlude. Colorful western sunsets and starlit skies will be the perfect backdrop for your evening activities. During the day there are lots of fun things to do in Newport Beach with attractions focused on families, couples, being active, or trips of solitude. Outdoor enthusiasts will love miles of hiking and cycling trails, surfing, and sailing. A good selection of restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping are also nearby. You are also a fun 5-minute ferry ride across from the well-known Balboa Fun Zone on the Balboa Peninsula.
Both homes have flowing great rooms that include a living room area with a large seating cluster from which to enjoy a TV and a 1st-story great room fireplace. The dining areas are next to the kitchen with breakfast bars - so everyone can comfortably eat inside. The kitchens are completely updated with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, giving you everything you desire to create meals and snacks for your crew. All you need do is add the food and the camaraderie and have fun. Outside barbecues make meals even easier to prepare.
Additional amenities include two garage parking spaces, WIFI and cable, and washer and dryer facilities, all provided to make things more convenient.
THINGS TO KNOW No smoking is allowed inside or outside this property. This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no-tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting from us. Reservations for this home will not be refunded if canceled within 60 days of arrival. This unit is managed by Vacasa Seasonals Inc. and may require a Security Deposit. DRE: 02160171.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page.
Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Our stay in this gorgeous home on Balboa Island was everything we had wanted. We had a large group of family but there was room for everyone to be comfortable and either do their own thing or sit around in the large living room and visit or play games. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Beautiful Spot!
We loved the location of this home and the furnishings were nice. The downsides were that the listing didn't clarify there is no way to get between the two homes, which was tricky when staying with a large group with children.

Great for a large family
The gathering space was great for our large family. Great couch and chairs. Open concept. Great French doors. Garage space fit our landcruiser which doesn’t always happen on the island. The only down side was that the two units do not connect in a convenient way. It was fine for adult children but could be hard with little ones.

Two separate units on one property
Vacasa was efficient with their emails and text communication, but not knowledgeable of the actual property's amenities and set up. It was frustrating trying to get the correct information through their office.
Once on property, the Balboa Island rental manager was helpful, and resourceful in answering questions and getting us settled.

Beautiful but lacks AC
This house on Balboa Island, California, offers an exceptional living experience with its superb location and impeccable decor. The decoration of the house is flawless, showcasing thoughtful design choices and attention to detail that create a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing environment. Each room is tastefully furnished, blending modern elegance with cozy charm, making it a haven for relaxation and entertaining.
One of the standout features of this property is its prime placement on the island, offering a serene setting away from the hustle and bustle while still remaining close to the vibrant community. Whether you enjoy leisurely walks along the waterfront or exploring local shops and restaurants, this location provides ample opportunities for enjoyable activities.
However, it is important to address the major drawback: the lack of air conditioning. While the room is equipped with a ceiling fan, it’s worth noting that fans only circulate air and do not lower the temperature. During the hot summer months, this could lead to discomfort, especially during heatwaves when the temperature rises significantly.
