The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect beach condo! It's well-equipped with everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. The kitchen has been equipped with all the essentials, including a new stainless steel fridge, dishwasher, and range, and the living area is all about comfort and coziness with inviting furniture and a TV. The private balcony is the perfect place to experience angled views that will blow your mind! The on-site washer/dryer adds convenience to your stay.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Golden Sands - Beach Vacation

Golden Sands is a great condo complex for your beach vacation. Tiki bar, easy access to the beach with umbrella service and restaurants and shops nearby and within walking distance.

My family and I loved staying here for our vacation. The place looked just as good as the pictures, and had lots of room for my family of 6. One of our favorite things was the ocean view from the balcony; it was beautiful! I definitely recommend this place.

Our unit was not as presented. Several utensils were dirty, a garbage can was not emptied, and most importantly the master shower was not usable. We had to buy a sink drain protector because there was none and we did not want to be responsible for damaging the garbage disposal. The AC worked well in the front rooms but it was hot and humid in the bedrooms facing the bay.

Golden sands .

The view was nice . The condo was very dirty . My grandchildren’s feet and socks were black from walking on floors, the stove was dirty , all the doors and doorways had dirty hand prints on them , the artwork had something splattered on the glass, the upholstered furniture was very dirty and had stains on it. There was dirt across the ceilings blown from the ac vents, master bedroom closet door had a piece missing from bottom , the master bath shower was clogged, and this is just to name is few things . The place needs to deep cleaned and updated badly . We will not be staying there again .

Unclean room

Unclean room upon check in. Took Vacasa a day and a half to not even get us a cleaning service , so we we were required to find help on our own accord through Golden Sands front desk. Did not receive refund that was requested.

Unit was not clean,coffee table was brook,glass on floor,got glass in our feet,no bulbs in lamps,fire alarm kept going off only thing good about 1701 the sheets were clean! Payed $43hundred for the week I should be compensated for the poor shape of this unit. Been coming to G.Sands for 20yrs never had such a bad review, and desk people new of the broken coffee table! Also, my Daughter had a small table fall on her foot. Got a bad bruse,took a picture of it,showed it to 2 people in the office. I should think you would treat your guests better then u treated us. Not likely to come back

The basics were clean - sheets, towels. But much lacked in the details ~ --kitchen not well stocked if you are planning to cook for 6-8 people. (no can opener either). Broil pan under over dirty, area under sink in disarray & dirty. --walls throughout unit covered in thick dust from ac vents --lightbulbs missing in 2 baths --only 1 towel provided per person, needed 2 for a 6 night stay (plenty of wash cloths & hand towels) - bring your own blankets as the bed spreads do not appear to get washed. --detailed cleaning needed on floor crevices, doors w/splatter spots, pictures in frames dirty, floor trim, curtains...etc --LR table missing glass top making it useless The views are great. The linens were clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay despite the average condition of the unit. Maintenance was quick to respond to fix the toilet & provide 1 new light bulb. Would not rebook this unit. Have stayed in others in Golden Sands and will stay there again.

OC Trip 7-2022

AC worked really good. Place was sandy and could have been cleaned better. Getting dated and needs some touch up done around whole place. Tiki Bar now has security that makes you feel like your in jail. Didn’t like that at all. My last time at Golden Sands
