The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect, condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony overlooking the water, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable.

THINGS TO KNOW
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We appreciated they had everything we needed to cook in the room, but some of it needs replaced , furniture was all fine but not great. Basically everything was fine.

great location. wonderful view. bed was comfortable. bus stop right outside for both ways. only issue was needed a broom/dustpan and kitchen lights flicker bad switch,?? loved the personal washer/dryer in unit.

A little less than adequate!

An okay off season place to stay. The building and the rooms need some serious updates. I thought maybe it was just our room, but my daughter was staying in another room and she thought the same thing.

Just a money maker

Room wasn’t cleaned very well. Floors were dirty. Junk under the bathroom sink and bedroom closet, No storage in the bathroom. Light bulbs were missing. Broken broom couldn’t clean up sand very well. It is basic and we could tell is just a money maker for owner. Updating is minimal.

Great perks

The amenities are great-Tiki Bar, pool, elevators, even the bed was comfortable and inside was clean. Downsides-old pots and pans need to be thrown out, most of the interior lighting was flickering, TVs were junk and cable box did not work. I ended up going to Walmart and buying another TV to use during the week.Facilities are great, needs improving inside. Owners should take a little pride in their property.

Overall Nice

The room was overall nice, but some areas that needed to be fixed to make it look cleaner & nicer (a number of cracked floor tiles, lots of scratches and gouges on the toilet, no extra blankets, paper thin pillows). Having the linens there when we arrived was nice, just wish we knew beforehand.

Very nice unit in the Golden Sands

We had a very nice stay. Location was great. It was quiet and relaxing as the Fall is less busy. The unit could use a few very inexpensive upgrades and it would be perfect. The bath and kitchen have been updated and are very nice. The bath needs a new toilet seat as the one there is very worn. Also in the kitchen the coffee maker definitely needs replaced, old and rusted out. But we brought are own pour over coffee so we didn't have to use it. With a few minor upgrades this unit would be 5 stars. All-in-all we had a great time and would rent this unit again.

Third floor so able to access via stairs instead of waiting forever for elevators. Nicely furnished and looks recently finished. Too costly for a one bedroom.
