We stayed here for 7 nights during May half term. On arrival, we were surprised to find the accommodation is part of an estate with four other apartments, as this wasn’t mentioned on the listing. It wasn’t a major issue, but it would have been helpful to know in advance as we expected a private rental. The pre‑arrival paperwork stated there was only one parking space, which caused some stress as we were travelling with three cars (7 guests) In reality, there were actually three allocated spaces for La Glycine, which was a relief.A washing machine is listed in the amenities, but there isn’t one. The hot tub was unavailable due to damage from previous guests, and the pool needed netting before each use because of the amount of debris (dead flies, leaves, lack of maintenance etc.).The house itself felt tired and in need of some TLC. There was a musty smell on arrival, the cooker was dirty, and several maintenance issues stood out: no cupboard door on the fridge, a radiator coming away from the wall, a kettle with a taped‑up cord, and a dishwasher that tips forward when the door is open.On the positive side, the hosts were excellent. Communication before our stay was quick, friendly, and very helpful.Would we return? Possibly, mainly because of the location and ease of getting around, but we wouldn’t rush back unless the property receives some updates and general maintenance.
