This place was perfect for two people. Cute space, nice kitchen, super comfortable bed, and porch to drink our coffee in the morning. We would stay here again. We had an issue with the front door code so we called the host who answered immediately and got us access in a matter of minutes.

Cute vibe, very clean, comfy bed, the kitchen was nicely stocked with cooking utensils and spices. The host also had some wonderful suggestions for places to eat, shop and sight see! I would definitely stay here again.

Three night getaway

Had a wonderful three night stay at Sarah's property. Just like the photos, the home is cute and comfortable. Enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and watching the sunset over the montains from the porch. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful desert getaway

This place is so lovely: quiet and clean and isolated, but close to good restaurants in Landers. Beautifully decorated and outfitted, and the hot tub is delightful on a cold night.

Lovely weekend in a quiet corner of the desert

We had a really lovely weekend star gazing and exploring the area. This place had everything we needed and the host went above and beyond providing ideas for things to do in the area! I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Quiet Getaway

Everything about the property was beautiful from all the stars you can see at night to every room of the house. A very comfortable property with everything that you might need. Will definitely consider staying again!

Desert Paradise

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. This property is everything we were looking for. Secluded, but close enough to town where we could pop into town quickly for anything we needed. It is very close to Joshua Tree which is what we spent most of our time doing! We will definitely be coming back in the future!

The best getaway

First time in Cali desert and Joshua tree. This place was perfect for our trip. Romantic and sweet and so relaxing! There were cockroaches we had to kill during our stay but we persevered and it didn’t take away from our time.

Perfect Landers house

We enjoyed our stay at the house! The pictures were accurate….very cute, comfortable, quiet and easy to get to. There was a planned ask-day power outage in the area, but no trouble getting in the electric gate, on solar power Thanks for sharing your home.

The property was a great and relaxing stay! Easy check in and within a short driving distance of quick food and snacks. The kitchen and restroom had everything we needed. A/C was easy to operate and relatively quick to cool down the rooms. Only *minor* note would be the distance of the bedroom to the restroom. I only mention it because my wife is pregnant and she had to keep walking back and forth during the night. Again, not an issue at all, just worth a small mention. Overall, a great stay and definitely worth every dollar. Would definitely stay again for the night sky views alone

Amazing Little Home Away From It All

House is exactly as described, pictures are accurate. Such a CUTE little getaway home. We loved it. Very clean, quiet, safe, out in the middle of nowhere, yet close enough to run into town for dinner or groceries. The kitchen in better stocked than units weve stayed in that cost substantially more. It is in the desert on a long dirt road. I was expecting the house to be covered in sand and dust inside and out...we were pleasantly surprised to see that it was not. I texted a host with a question during our stay and she replied within minutes. Next time we have plans to visit Joshua Tree we will definitely stay here again!!!

Date with a plumber

Host knew that the toilet was broken but did not inform us. You can imagine the results. Ended up with a plumber for over 2 hours in the house so could not cook dinner or enjoy the house. Sat outside in the cold. Poor communication all around.

The property itself was neat and clean. I'm not quite a germophobe, but I prefer surfaces to be wiped clean and linens to at least smell like they've been laundered -- I was definitely pleased with the cleanliness of the home. Sara provided detailed and helpful instructions for the house before arrival. As big coffee drinkers, we really appreciated the coffee maker, Keurig, and French press options (as well as the grinder). The mounted AC units kept the home cool. The bed was uncomfortable (seemed worn out), and we were both rolling toward the dip in the middle.We had a hiccup with the check-in process as our login code hadn't been updated, and we were locked outside in 90 degree weather for 30 minutes (despite calling Sara 9 times). After our visit, I also sent Sara a message through VRBO to let her know of a few things that were broken before we entered the home, and I never heard back from her. Perhaps not the most responsive host, but it's really only an issue when you're locked outside :)
