Place was very nice and what I expected for a cabin. It's kinda small so if your looking to spend a while there with four adults you may be cramp. The loft would be really cool for kids though. Overall we were very happy with our experience.
Our stay was very comfortable. We came mostly to enjoy a winter weekend retreat and relax. The house created the vibe for the whole weekend. The A-frame cabin with full window front was so scenic with the light snowfall. Cozy fires with the wood stove were the highlights of each evening. Location was perfect. 10 minute drive to downtown restaurants and shops. We would definitely repeat this location next year.
The host was very responsive, answered any questions very promptly. The place was just as described . very comfortable and cozy and close to downtown and hiking trails.
This is a wonderful location, within walking distance of a beautiful walk to the lake. We spent most of our time on the deck watching the climbers. Communication with the owners was easy, and we would definitely stay again.
Best location!! Off beaten path but close enough for everything in the valley. Pic is view of cathedral ledge from deck. Peaceful and very quiet; exactly what we wanted. Maybe some new couches for living room but workable and queen bed very comfy. Would stay again for sure

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay! The couch has been replaced. We hope you come again!
We absolutely love this cozy cabin! We have been staying here many years and always enjoyOur time. It’s very clean, well maintained and the best part for us, dog friendly! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We can’t wait to book again
Very cute , clean house with a great veiw of the cliffs nice front porch to watch rock climbers. Super close too ,but far enough away from down town that you feel like your in nature . We really enjoyed our stay!
We loved staying at this chalet! Great location and really private/quiet. Well appointed and cozy. We also thank the hosts for allowing pets-our dog loved it. We had planned to sleep upstairs but the stairs are extremely steep and we didn’t think we could walk down the stairs to the bathroom at night. Probably would be fine for tweens and teens. We would definitely stay here again.
Sitting on the deck and both watching and hearing the climbers after of day of hiking was exactly what I was looking for and exactly what this cabin delivered.
Welcome to our peaceful year-round chalet in North Conway – a cozy retreat nestled directly beneath the stunning Cathedral Ledge. We’re Chris and Pam, married 20+ years, with twin teenage boys who keep us laughing (and moving). We love skiing and snowmobiling in winter, but every season here feels like home. Summer might be our best-kept secret: trails start right outside the door, it’s a 10-minute walk through the woods to the sandy beach at Echo Lake, and the deck offers a front-row seat to rock climbers tracing lines up the cliff that towers over the house. Winter is pure magic too – Cranmore is five minutes away, bigger mountains and snowmobile trails are an easy drive, and the snow turns the neighborhood into a hushed wonderland. After a day outside we come home, kick off boots, light the big wood-burning fireplace, and watch the light shift across the ledge ledge from the living room windows. The chalet is small, warm, and deliberately simple – wood walls, soft blankets, a cozy living room perfect for board games or quiet evenings, and that jaw-dropping full view of Cathedral Ledge from the deck and most rooms. It’s the place our family unwinds and reconnects, no matter the season. We love welcoming families who want adventure steps from the door yet come home to real calm. Guests leave rested, already dreaming of their next trip – powder days in winter or lake swims and climber-watching in summer. Come make your own memories here, any time of year. The ledge is always waiting. Can’t wait to welcome you, Chris, Pam & the twins
Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood for one overwhelming reason: the first time we saw Cathedral Ledge towering directly over these quiet houses, we knew we’d never love any place more. It’s impossibly rare to find a spot that feels this dramatic yet this peaceful. The cliff rises hundreds of feet right above the rooftops, filling every window and deck with a view that stops conversation. Watch the sunrise paint it pink, spend afternoons spotting tiny climbers inching up the face, or sit with coffee while ravens surf the updrafts at eye level. In twenty-plus years, that view has never once gotten old. Then there’s the quiet. This little loop is tucked away—no through traffic, no noise from Route 16, just tall pines and the soft echo of the ledge. Trails start at the edge of the yard; Echo Lake’s sandy beach is a ten-minute walk through the woods. Cranmore is five minutes by car, yet you feel completely removed from the bustle. We wanted a home where we could step outside and instantly be in the mountains, then come back to true calm at the end of the day. This neighborhood gives us both: adventure out the door and total serenity the moment we pull in the driveway. Every time we turn onto the road and the ledge appears, we still get that same quiet thrill we felt the very first day. Some places just feel like they were waiting for you. This one was waiting for us. Chris & Pam
What makes this property unique
It’s the only place we’ve ever found where a 300-foot granite cliff feels like it’s part of the living room.
Full, unobstructed view of Cathedral Ledge from the deck and almost every window. You wake up to it, eat dinner watching climbers on the face, and fall asleep with moonlight on the rock. Trails out the door: 5 minutes to the base of the cliff, 10 minutes through the woods to Echo Lake’s sandy beach and state park. No driving required. Dead-quiet, tucked-away neighborhood yet Cranmore is 5 minutes away and North Conway village 7–8. You get total peace without isolation. The house sits in the sweet spot: close enough to feel the presence of the ledge, far enough back that it’s private and serene (no road noise, no crowds). Year-round magic: winter snow turns it into a hushed bowl, spring waterfalls tumble off the cliff, summer swimming and climbing are steps away, fall foliage explodes against the rock.
Most homes in North Conway have mountain views. This one has the mountain itself standing guard over it, and you can walk right up and touch it. That combination simply doesn’t exist anywhere else. That’s why, after 20+ years, we still catch our breath every single time we pull in the driveway. Chris & Pam
