We've come to Keystone for many years, but this time with family of all ages - grandmothers to a 3 year old. This condo was a comfortable, clean, and convenient base for us. Thanks!

My family and I had a great time at Keystone and it was in large part due to this condo, which was mere minutes away from the mountain house west parking lot and was stocked with everything we needed. Looking forward to staying there next year.

Thank you so much for this wonderful review Erik! We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay with us. Starfire is in a pretty, peaceful area. We look forward to seeing you again in 2024! ~ SummitCove Lodging
The set-up was great for our group. The condo was very nicely appointed and had all of the basic amenities we needed - plenty of plates, silverware, cups, cooking utensils and cookware. This unit is right across the street from the hot tub, which is wonderful post ski day. Easy access to shuttles to ski - shuttle takes you to Mt. House base. Property management answered all of my questions quickly via text.

We appreciate your kind words and wonderful review Tina. We are glad to hear that your stay met your expectations and you enjoyed the location near the hot tub and the shuttle to the slopes. It was great hosting you and we hope to see you again soon! ~ SummitCove Lodging
Wonderful location....just a short drive (3-5 minutes) or a short shuttle ride to Keystone Ski Resort. The shuttle stop is very close, just across the street. The property is only a 10 minute drive away to Dillon which has many great restaurants, a movie theater (for those recovery days), and more. Unfortunately, there are no "walkable" restaurants nearby the property, but everything is so close including two big grocery stores. We would recommend renting a car. The house was great. Lots of bedrooms, nice family room, kitchen well -equipped. Loved the humidifiers in every room! The management company was awesome. Our smoke alarm needed a new battery - they were replacing it within an hour. We needed extra blankets...again, response time was terrific. Hot tub very close, across the street. The garage was awesome...heated for skis and coats! All in all, just a wonderful place!
Perfect sleeping quarters for 3 couples with 4 teenagers. Nice large entry area with bench seating for multiple people to boot up for skiing on first floor. Free shuttle is located about two blocks away on yellow line. Walk out from condo complex and turn right. It’s called Wild Irishman/Soda Springs, has a large covered shelter with seating and tall signage so easy to spot. Quick to get to Mountain House base as it is the next stop. Longer on way back as us last condo loop stop leaving the mountain. Overall good space to spread out over three floors. Only two parking spots. We had 3 cars so had to drop off one car at nearby Keystone conference center parking lot. 25 overnight fee but free during the day. The lot is across the highway and too far for walking so needed to take two vehicles to shuttle the driver back and forth. Great place to stay. Only one downside.is no easy way to get to Keystone village/river run base area other than driving yourself and trying to find parking. Yellow bus only serves Mountain house and loops through several condo communities. There is NO bus from mountain house base to River Run either so to get there you have to take a long convoluted route with multiple bus changes. Doesn’t make sense that the two bases have no transit between each other. So staying here isolates you from the main base.

Thank you for your detailed review, Debora. I appreciate you highlighting all the pros of the condo. There is a bus that loops between Mountain House and River Run Village but it departs on the East side of Mountain House. You have to walk through Mountain House to reach it. I'm sorry you didn't know that. Your feedback will be useful for others exploring lodging options in the area. I'm grateful for your thoughtful assessment and we hope to see you again! ~ SummitCove Lodging
Gas leaks through out the property that were not fixed
We stayed in this rental January 20-23. We left a night early due to four natural gas leaks through out the property. We had to call Xcel which said the fireplace needed to be shut off immediately and fixed. One of the children staying in the house passed out and fell down the stairs due to the smell of the gas that is added to natural gas for detection. The management company said it was safe to stay in the property. They turned off the fireplace but did not address anything else. We had to call them. Not one of them called to see how we were or if they could help. And when we asked to leave a night early because we did not feel safe, they gave us a hard time because they insisted it was safe. They did not fix the leaks on the main floor which is where the bunk room is where all the kids were sleeping. We did not feel comfortable or safe staying. I called several days later to follow up and the leaks had not been fixed. The management company laughed when I expressed my frustration at the lack of concern. Would not recommend a management company that is in the business of booking a house that is unsafe. One of the maintenance guys that came while Xcel was inspecting said the property had received the same complaint and nothing was done.

Hi Christine,
We appreciate your time to review your stay and I'm sorry that it was not the experience that we want our guests to have. I did speak to the maintenance team and I also listened to the phone calls to make sure that I have the correct information regarding the issue that you had during your stay. We did speak to Xcel Energy directly after they were out and we were told by them that there were no issues, and everything was in working order. We also sent out our maintenance team to test for gas to make sure it was safe for the remainder of your stay. Like Xcel, we did not get any readings to indicate that there were any issues with a gas leak. We also brought out extra detectors and there have been no alarms to indicate any issues. When you let us know that you did not feel safe, we understood and agreed to refund the night that you were not staying. While I understand that the experience made you feel unsafe and that you needed to leave a night early, we would never rent a property that was unsafe to our guests. We did do due diligence to make sure that there were not any safety issues with this property and we have not had any issues with the guests who have stayed here since your reservation. We apologize for your experience. We value our guests and we are sorry that your stay was not a good experience.
Regards,

We really enjoyed our stay at Starfire. Loved the space. Location was great for everything we wanted to do. Only complaint I have was the pillows. So so soft. But we will definitely stay here when we come again.
