Unit flooded Jan 2024. Repairs not completed until May or June. Location! Location! Location! PERFECT for CANNES FILM FESTIVAL, and other local events!

This Cannes Vacation Rental apartment has the best of everything. Totally remodeled and oh so stylish and in the very best location possible. 100 meters (2 minute) from the Boulevard de La Croisette (the famous seafront promenade) and a 5-10 minute walk to The Palais des Festivals et des Congrès where you can attend International Boat Show, MIPCOM, TAX FREE, GARTNER, MAPIC, Mare di Moda, International Luxury Travel Market, MIDEM, MIPIM, MIPTV, MILIA, Cannes Film Festival, and Advertising Lions Festival.

This apartment will absolutely feel like home. You have almost every kitchen utensil you have at home and all the dishes and glasses you could possibly need. The owners take great pride in keeping the apartment clean and well furnished for their guests. We stay here 2-3 times per year and make sure it is constantly updated for our guests. This is not your average rental!

There are two large double French doors (one from the living room and one from the bedroom) that open up to Rue Commandant Andre. It is not unusual to be serenaded by wonderful music during the dinner hour and during the summer there is often lots of music. Close them (and the shutters) at night and the sound and light is a distant memory.

There are two air conditioners (one for the main living area and one for the master bedroom (comfy queen bed) which has its own private shower. Air Conditioning during the summer in Cannes is a MUST and we have two extremely effective units that will keep you comfy and cool.

The loft upstairs has a fold out futon (with a very thick comfortable mattress.) and its own full-size bathtub/shower and sink. The WC (toilet) is downstairs off the living room. There is also an office/desk area to work from. YES there is WIFI available but please request it in advance. The cost is only E10/day extra and includes free calls to USA/Canada and Western Europe.

Shopping, Shopping, Shopping!: Oh dear! The shopping is right outside of your door. Rue D'Antibes (the main shopping street) is 10 meters (seconds!) away and then of course you have La Croisette and all of the stores that will eat your credit card for a snack. If you can't buy - it sure is fun to shop.

There is a sandy beach here! Topless bathing is not as common these days but it does still exist of course - this is the French Rivera after all! Step out of your apartment and you are immediately in the middle of action with restaurants all around you, shopping (some of the best in all of Europe!) to your left and to your right. Walk out in your swimsuit and turn left and in less then 5 minutes you are strolling the promenade known as La Croisette. There are beautiful beaches (some public some private so if you like pay about E20 each and get a comfy chair for the day as well as drink orders taken beach side).

Absolutely no car is needed as the public transport is amazingly convenient and easy to use. And it's inexpensive too!

This is a very popular location to those 'in the know.'

This is a great base for day trips as the train/bus stations are so close by. Just pop out to the train and visit Monaco, Eze, Nice, Antibes, and many other amazaing locations for the day.

Had such a great stay! Loved this place.

This apartment was truly great. The location is excellent, and the apartment is comfortable and well-appointed. Lots of great restaurants, bars, shops, etc. just downstairs and of course the beach. Can't say enough nice things about this place, felt very lucky to stay there. Judy (owner) and Johna (caretaker) were both wonderful. I highly recommend and hope to stay there again. :)

Great stay in Cannes - Perfect location

This small apartment has everything you need, and gave my wife and I enough privacy from our tween girls as well! It is perfectly located, right in the middle of the action and five minutes walk from a public beach - so if you WANT to pay 30 Euro for a beach chair you can, but if you prefer to throw down a towel and jump in the Med that is an option. Great restaurants, open air market, small grocery, it is all right there. We would gladly stay here again!

Wonderful - perfect launchpad for your French Riviera vacation!

Have to agree with all the other reviews - location, location, location. We stayed for a week and absolutely loved it - walk along the beach, walk to the old town, restaurants and shopping galore. And when we weren't enjoying wonderful Cannes, we did day trips to Italy, Monaco and the Provence wine region. Our last day we took the ferry over to Marguerite Island for a picnic lunch and polish off all our leftover cheeses, meets, baguettes and of course, WINE!

Beautiful location in the center of Cannes!

Location location location! This apartment couldn't have been a better fit for our 3 day/2 night stay in Cannes. It was during the film festival and was so easily accesible for transportation + walking to/from where we wanted to go. Johna, the housekeeper, was wonderful with our check-in process and Judy was so lovely communicating prior to our trip. It is on one of the main streets in Cannes (2 minute walk to the La Croisette) and you have access to so many wonderful restaurants we enjoyed ourselves at. I highly recommend this flat and cannot thank Judy again for our wonderful stay-we will be back!

Wonderful Flat in Cannes

We so enjoyed our time here! Fun, tastefully decorated apartment right in the heart of Cannes. Pictures are very accurate. Anything one could possibly want or need is in apartment. Location is just a few short blocks to train or bus; and two blocks to water (look left out of windows and it's right there!). Quite close to Film Festival location...and excellent shopping nearby. We walked all over....Old Town is not far. Owner has large binder of suggestions for restaurants, bars, shopping, day trips, activities. We were very impressed--and hope to return!

Great Location in Cannes

We stayed for one week in this cute apartment just one block from the Croisette. Excellent, happening location. Cannes is busy and bustling, but once we got into the flow, we loved it. Judy's apartment was very functional and well outfitted. Considering the location, it was quiet in the evening with the shutters closed and the A/C running. Some nights, though, we left the shutters open and watched the street scene right below. Loads of fun. Dozens of great restaurants all around the block and a daily outdoor market just up the street. A great experience. Ideal for two adults and two children.

Great Location

We had a lovely stay in Cannes at this property. The location was absolutely amazing. Steps to the beautiful beach, restaurants and shopping. Very easy check in process and the apartment is very well stocked. Our only concern was the stairs to the loft were a little difficult for the young kids. Would highly recommend

Great Location/Well Furnished/Easy

Great location and close to everything......beach,shopping,restaurants. Close to train, buses for day trips to Nice, Antibes, Provence. Bright and colorful apartment that was well furnished and comfortable. Drawbacks would be the lofting in the kitchen and bathroom for tall people (6'3"+). Also, it is near the party district so it can be a bit loud late at night. Bottom line, would stay again!

Perfert location

The situation of the appartement is perfect! Near everything, very secure, very design! We love Cannes, especially from Commandant André, Jean-Luc Pelé's coffee and bread, all the shops on Antibes street, rue de Meynadier for the cheeses and candy! A quick walk to the train, croisette, everything! If youre on the Cannes beat its fine, restaurant and bars very close, beware the 5euros coffee on the corner pizzeria, tourist trap... But, le bistro bobo is very good! Excellent service! We had a great vacation! If youre sleep is fragile, the bed is wonderful!!!

Our stay in Cannes

We stayed a week at this wonderful apartment in Cannes. The location was absolutely perfect! We were close to the beach and could rent chairs and umbrellas-it was a great beach. We were right in the middle of great restaurants and shopping-the shopping was fantastic because we were able to shop reasonably as well as find a few special high end pieces. It was also a great place to take day tours from-very easy to get to the train station as well as have private tours pick us up. The owners were fantastic to work with. We would definitely come back again.

Everything you need!

I have stayed at this apartment twice now and will continue to do so when traveling to Cannes! The apartment has always been very clean upon arrival, including a small arrival kit that can come in handy. The rooms are spacious and there two separate shower/sink areas in each, which is very helpful while sharing the space. There are large, updated windows that keep it very bright. The apartment itself is situated extremely close to the Croisette and Rue D'Antibes. It was a pleasure to deal with the caretaker upon arrival! I would highly recommend staying here!

Perfect location, spacious apartment

This was our first trip to Cannes and we split our time between Judy's apartment in Cannes and in Nice. The apartment in Cannes is spacious, bright, comfortable, thoughtfully decorated, and centrally located to restaurants, shopping areas, outdoor markets, and transportation. We attended a symphony concert, had a three hour lunch on the beach, and learned to promenade on the Rue de Croisette. Johana, the caretaker, welcomed us to the apartment and answered all of our questions. Cannes in November is lovely, and splitting one's stay between Nice and Cannes is ideal.

Great condo in the perfect location!

Staying in this beautiful condo was the perfect way to end our 25 day European holiday. We were greeted by Johna with a warm welcome. She helped us up the steps with our luggage and showed us all that we needed to know about the condo and the surrounding area. The apartment was tastfully decorated, well equipped and perfectly clean. It is located in the heart of Cannes, a short walking distance to great restaurants, fantastic shoppes, the beach promenade with it's famous hotels, the convention center and the boat, bus and train stations. Each morning we walked to the pastry shop and the outdoor market to pick up breakfast. Each day we toured the lovely towns nearby. We parked in the residential area north of the train station and enjoyed the 15 minute walk back to the condo. We have already recommended this lovely condo our friends and family. Thank you Judy for sharing your place with us.

I spent a week in Cannes, France during my son's spring break in March 2013. It was one of the best vacation I've ever had. We traveled to Monaco, Nice, and Marselle by train during our stay and experienced some of the best local cuisine and sightseeing. I highly recommend Cannes, France as your next vacation spot. The apartment was in the middle of the city easy walk from train and bus stations. It is only a block away from the beach and a few blocks away from just about all the major attractions.

Can't wait to return!

This is a very cute apartment located in the most awesome area! We were greeted by the caretaker who was very helpful in explaining the details of the apartment. We found it to be a very clean, well stocked, and comfortable place. It is obvious that the owners take great care in making sure the property is well-kept. I loved the location which is smack-dab in the middle of the shopping/restaurant district of Cannes - plus only about 5 blocks to the train station. I cannot wait to return with friends - and my husband already mentioned another trip with family (he does not normally do that!).

We had a terrific time in Cannes, and the apartment certainly was a big part of that. The beach was minutes away and we were in easy walking distance of everything - terrific restaurants, walks to and beside the water, shopping, etc. We were greeted by the caretaker after walking from the train station. She had everything ready - including a bottle of wine in the fridge! The apartment is nicely decorated and well appointment - there was never anything we couldn't find. Our only minor issue was that the door lock was tempermental at times - a minor frustration.

Perfect Location, lovely apartment!

It couldn't be any easier if you like the beach. One block, cross the street, and you're there. We loved the convenience of the apartment. Evening walks along la Croisette, a few blocks to the train station, a few blocks to the market (wonderful foods, spices, and clothing). The apartment has everything you'll need to make a nice meal or just chill out and read. Unfortunately, our daughter got sick with a fever for a few days but we managed well within the pharmacy across the street and an inexpensive DVD retailer around the corner who had all the classics we like here in the USA. Highly recommend the beaches along Plage du Midi for some great snorkeling. I would definately choose to return to this apartment.

Excellent location and spaceous apartment

This was our first time to Nice and Cannes – and our visit and each of the apartments were absolutely wonderful – we split our visit between this owner’s Nice and Cannes apartments. In Nice, we started each morning with breakfast on the balcony and ended each day with aperitif in the same location: with gorgeous views of the beach, Mediterranean sea and Promenade des Anglais. We easily took day trips to Eze, Cannes and Monte Carlo. And mastered the bus system to visit Vieux Ville, Cours Saleya, Phoenix Parc, Le Musee Messena, Matisse, Chagall and des Beaux Arts. We shopped at the local vegetable and fish markets and cooked in, and when we wanted to eat out there were several excellent options within walking distance, or via bus. In Cannes, the apartment was equally wonderful and accessible to transportation, the beach/ Promenade de la Croisette, restaurants and phenomenal shopping. Great for when the purchases started to accumulate – and required a quick drop off back at the apartment! Again, we easily planned day trips to Ventimiglia (Italy) and Monte Carlo and our return trip to Paris. We also loved shopping at the local flea/brocante market. Both caretakers were friendly, informative and helpful. Thank you for the option of staying in both of your lovely homes. Best wishes.

Judy and Hervall Family.........Thank you so much for letting me call your property my "home away from home". I had a lovely week there exploring the other cities on the coast and traveling on the various buses like a native. It was a pleasure to come back to such a confortable place to rest and get geared up for the next day of travels. I am sure I gained 10 pounds on the restaurants and the "pain au raisins". We are a family living in the San Francisco Bay Area who LOVE the south of France. We own this apartment as well as one in Nice. We visit often and what this means to you is that we take great care in the furnishings of the apartment to make sure they are updated, clean and complete. Our family is getting older (at least the kids are) so we hope to come here more and more often. We also own vacation homes in Rancho Mirage (Palm Springs are of California) Cape Coral, Florida andSan Francisco.

Why they chose this property

Our Nice apartment was our very first 'second' home. Cannes came closely after. Then we bought in San Francisco (we live 30 minutes North of the city but love spending time there) then Cape Coral, FL and finally in 2015 Rancho Mirage on a golf course (I guess we are getting older and not just the kids!?) We take great pride in furnishing these homes in a way that you won't miss a thing and be so happy with your decision to stay in our apartment instead of a hotel. We hope you will feel like you are "home".

What makes this property unique

The location made us purchase this home. The attention to the design, the 'real french' feel of the building the proximity to everything and the fact it was totally remodeled are the things that we always look for and could not believe we found it here! A designer lived and designed this flat from the "studs" of the apartment and you can tell. It is very stylish, amazing use of every square inch as well as being fun and colorful.
