Quiet cottage with magnificent view of the cliffs! Old stable completely renovated, with 2 levels:
- Ground floor: 2 bedrooms separated by a partition and blackout curtains (no door), each equipped with a 160cm bed (1 double bed and 1 sofa bed). A bathroom and separate toilet.
- 1st level: living room / kitchenette, which also serves as a yoga studio when the house is not rented, with large arches made of tuff stones, typical of the region.

Guaranteed disconnection in this setting in the middle of nature!

Equipment: kitchenette (gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, fridge and everything you need to cook and eat on site), fireplace with insert, 2 air conditioning units (hot/cold) in addition, bed linen and bath towels provided, 140cm shower, blackout curtains and blinds, tourist documentation.

Garden furniture on a covered terrace, facing south, and view of the surrounding nature.

Please note: there is very high-speed Wi-Fi, but no television! We have also put some board games.

IMPORTANT: we reserve the right to refuse you access to the gîte if you arrive with a number of travellers greater than your booking, or if you have a pet with you.

The accommodation is rented in its entirety, you will have access to the 2 levels, both accessible on the same level.
You can also enjoy the garden of more than one hectare by the river, with a superb view of the cirque of Saint Paul des Fonts, and its majestic cliffs.

The name "La maison des biches" is simply linked to the fact that we often see them on our land (deer, roe deer and chevrettes), you may be lucky enough to come across some during your stay, even in the middle of the day!

In this haven of peace, you can enjoy the sound of the river flowing at the bottom of the land. Go and see our chickens in the middle of an organic orchard recently planted with several dozen trees, admire the Milky Way at night when the sky is clear, because there is no light pollution here.
You will also have no noise pollution, because the road that arrives at the village is a cul de sac, so there is very little traffic except for the inhabitants of the village, and the house is located more than 500m from the centre.

Located in the South Aveyron, in the Regional Natural Park of the Grands Causses, this small stone house of 70m² on a plot of more than one hectare, nestles in the heart of the cirque of Saint Paul des Fonts, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can enjoy a panoramic view of the Ravin d'Aubaygue from the garden.

- Hiking enthusiasts can enjoy the GR71C, going to the cliff overlooking the village (see photo taken from the top of the cirque, with a view of the village).
- You can visit the famous Roquefort cellars just 10 kms away
- All amenities are present in the town of Saint-Affrique 15kms away (shopping centre, restaurants, market, cinema, post office, etc)
- Ride a velorail, kayak, pedal boat, paddle or simply swim in the gorges of the Tarn, the Dourbie, or at the Raspes of St Rome de Tarn.
