Welcome to North Shore Lookout!

The Entire lower floor of a 6 story tall duplex up on a hill with an amazing view of DownTown. We are located within minutes of Stringers Ridge, Coolidge Park, The Aquarium, Bars and Restaurants and really everything Down Town Chattanooga has to offer.

The Hot Tub is fully functioning, Private and is only for our guests at Northshore Lookout. Because we are downtown and have neighbors close by the Hot tub is closed at 10pm to limit noise.

We can be as available as our guests require. We currently live in the other portion of the duplex. (No expense was spared in soundproofing) We are just steps away if needed.

We are at the foot of Stringers Ridge Hiking and Bike trails. Mike's Hole in the Wall Bar and Restaurant and Pizza Bros are both within 2 minute Walk. First Watch Breakfast, Edley's BBQ and Mean Mug Cafe are within 2 minutes Drive. The Walking Bridge, Coolidge Park, Aquarium and The Riverwalk are with 3-4 minutes drive. Publix and Whole Foods are within 2 minutes Drive and the neighborhood is quiet and Friendly.

North Shore Lookout offers 1500Sq ft of modern living including 2 King Beds, a fully equipped Kitchen, Hulu, HBO and Netflix available in every room, Fast Wifi, a large deck with a view and a 6 Person Hot tub to ensure full relaxation for our guests.

Restaurants, Bars and Grocery Stores are all within walking distance. Everything Down town will be within minutes drive. There is a free electric bus service that picks up at Coolidge Park and has multiple routs downtown if you prefer not to drive.

Comfortable stay

The condo was very spacious, nicely decorated and located close to downtown. We loved the electric fireplaces in the bedrooms. Our kids loved the hot tub. We would come back and definitely recommend!

Very clean

We had a great time getting away for a few days. The steps are a bit of a challenge lugging items from the car, but overall a great place. Enjoyed the spa. Check in and out was perfect.

Amazing Spring Break Getaway

Gorgeous space!

My husband and I plus two friends stayed here for two nights. The space was just gorgeous and perfect for two couples. Beautiful, clean, and spacious. We had everything we needed, including towels and robes for the hot tub. Wonderful stay- would definitely book again!

Quick weekend trip

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was conveniently located and was exactly as described. The rooms were very spacious and well maintained. The only issue we had was with the parking. Turning around was very difficult and it was a long way to backout to the street.

Fantastic Views of Downtown!

This VRBO is a very clean, nicely decorated and well appointed unit, close to many attractions. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. The kitchen is very nice and fully equipped. Guests should be aware that there are 36 stairs from the parking area to the entrance to the unit. And the road to the parking area is narrow, unpaved and uneven in places. Overall our stay was very enjoyable.

Pros and Cons

Pros - big rooms and king-size beds, jacuzzi was clean and hot! The interior was clean and decorated well. The owner was very responsive once I tracked him down. Cons - The home was a challenge to find. Once we found the entrance it was a narrow washed-out gravel road with big potholes and trees and bushes hitting the car. When you leave there is no way to turn around so you are forced to back down the narrow gravel road to exit. The shower and bathroom are small and tight, and the towels were rough compared to other places we have stayed. It took a while to gain access to the front door, due to the inefficiency of the code system and when we left we could not get it to lock back, so we exited early versus coming back after breakfast.

Very large 2 bedroom property with a beautiful view of downtown. The king size beds were very comfortable! The large screen television was great for watching football. We will definitely stay here next time we plan a trip to Chattanooga.

Mike's hole in the wall and so much more within walking distance. 15-20 min from everything else we wanted to do.The view from bedroom windows and porch are worth it alone. But then you add a hot tub, large, tall ceiling rooms and a comfy couch and we really didn't want to leave!

Nice home

The home was nice and clean. The view is also really nice. Directions to enter the home could be better. We had to turn around several times to find the driveway in the daylight. Also, this stay is in a basement which had an odd smell. With only staying one night, we decided to deal with the smell while there. Overall good stay.

Snow weekend

The place was lovely. The host very responsive! The wall fireplace were perfect for the snow storm weather .Although my friend was sensitive to the strong odor of the cleaning product that was used before our arrival.
