About this property

Beach and Ocean front views from living area and lanais wrap around the condo. Even the kitchen has an ocean view! The master bedroom has one King bed and en suite bathroom. The guest bedroom has two twin beds which can be converted to one king bed (upon request and approval). The living room has a queen size sofa sleeper. Highly efficient split AC provided in both bedrooms (no AC in the main living area).

Hale Hui Kai is a beloved location among first time visitors and repeat guests. There is a small shared oceanfront pool next to the common area covered lanai, which is equipped with comfortable lounge space for guests to enjoy when you need a break from the Maui sun.

Always the best location for a vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the Hale Hui Kai and have stayed there many times. The most recent unit we stayed in was wonderful. The view from the deck was spectacular. The kitchen has everything and more than you need. The bedroom was very quite and sleeping was very comfortable.

Wonderful as always. Our unit was well equipped and decor is very nice. Suggest new beach chairs, ac is very quirky, and a first aid kit would be great. Mahalo

Great location but has issues

Rating Details: The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First and foremost, the location is unbeatable. However, it did have critters. Mostly, mice and roaches. The unit, itself, was clean; however it had these issues. In addition, there weren’t any screens on the windows and with the slats open, as you need them to be for air flow since there is only AC in the bedrooms, any critter can get in. We ended up staying somewhere else as this issue made everyone uncomfortable!

There is no AC in the main living area, but having it in the bedrooms was sufficient. Would definitely stay here again!
