**Hale Hui Kai is finishing a construction project during the month of January, call our office before making a reservation**

Central air conditioning with windows inside louvers, keeping noise out and cool air in. Master bedroom with King bed and second bedroom has two twin beds. Sofa sleeper in the living area to accommodate up to six guests. Two full bathrooms with step in shower/tub combo.

Hale Hui Kai is a beloved location among first time visitors and repeat guests. There is a small shared oceanfront pool next to the common area covered lanai, which is equipped with comfortable lounge space for guests to enjoy when you need a break from the Maui sun. On each floor of the property, is a pay-to-use laundry room each with two washers and two dryers.

Bello Realty, Inc. has been managing vacation rentals on Maui since the 1980's and is the premier on site management office at Hale Hui Kai. Our staff is available to assist you during your visit with any questions you may have as well as local recommendations and booking a return visit!

Nice to spread out

We really enjoyed this property for the ease of check-in and the roominess of the property. We were traveling with our two adult children so having enough places to sit comfortably to relax was important. We could see the ocean from the patio deck and the sunsets were spectacular. The air-conditioning was certainly a bonus as this part of the island can get warm. It made sleeping much easier.

There are also more tiny springtail bugs in here than usual. They don't bother you just keep everything clean. The shower head in the smaller bathroom didn't work. Or I was not able to get it to work.

Maui No Ka 'Oi

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I have been traveling to Maui almost yearly for the last 27 years. We love south Kihei and have stayed at Hale Hui Kai several times. We love this resort because is is small and in a great location. That said this particular unit could use some maintenance/repair and updating. During the first night there was a beeping like the battery in the smoke detector. We called the next morning which was Friday and a Holiday, so talked to the on call person who said that it was probably a moisture/water detector on the floor behind the toilet. He said that they would be in touch after the weekend... no one ever called or contacted us to take care of it. One of the kitchen cabinet doors was falling off it's hing too. There was also an issue with at Washer Machine in the 3rd floor laundry room. The onsite staff was helpful in providing us some extra soap but no offer to reimburse us for the money we put into the machine... I guess it is use at your own risk. This unit did have beach chairs and an umbrella along with snorkels, masks, and fins along with beach towels though. The reef in front of the Mana Kai resort next door is excellent to snorkel at. Lots of marine life including turtles and Octopus. Unfortunately the restaurants next door (Sarento's and Five Palms) were closed down. Hopefully they will re-open in the future. But on the positive side there are good places to eat in Wailea to the south and Coconut's Fish Cafe and Cafe O'Lei just north of Kamaole Beach Park III to the North. Overall we had a wonderful time and will stay at this resort again, but probably in a different unit.

Reviewer Comments: a great place to stay, the 2 bedrooms worked out perfect, especially the 2 twin beds in the second bedroom for the kids, great location, nice beach, clean condo with nice little kitchen and on-site laundry room. It was nice to have the beach chairs, towels and umbrella to use on the sand too. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a 2 bedroom place in Kihei.

Absolutely Brilliant!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing stay at this location. It's great to be right next to the beach and have the ability to go back to the unit at any time. Also, since this unit is on the north side of the building, we could see the sunset every night from our balcony. All the people were incredibly friendly and the property is beautifully maintained. The only thing dissapointing is that our kids were looking forward to a lot more pool time but the pool rules were relatively strict - shutting down at dusk and generally no playing (no Marco Polo, etc). That being said we definitely recognize the aim to be a quiet, calm resort location, which it definitely is.

Fabulous quiet location, great beach etc. This unit is well located with a good peekaboo view of the water. Well equipped with comfortable beds and furniture. Central AC is great and much appreciated. However really needs a reno of the bathrooms and kitchen, very dated and worn cupboards, counterops, bathroom fixtures, etc. Time for an upgrade to be competitive with other units in the same building.
