Wonderful host. Very well-appointed stay. Was in town briefly for a work trip in off-season for this area, but I would happily return to this property with the family for vacation.
Super petit gîte, bien décoré et aménagé, avec tout ce qu'il faut pour vraiment cuisiner. L'emplacement est calme et agréable avec un jardin malheureusement partiellement clôturé (les animaux ne peuvent restés "seuls" dans le jardin). Les chambres en enfilade ne sont très pratiques en revanche la literie au top. Notre hôte était réactive dans nos échanges et très agréable. On recommande .
J’ai grandi à Saint-Georges-de-la-Rivière, la commune de mon enfance, où je vis à nouveau depuis quelques années. Cette maison est l’ancienne gare où habitait ma maman, un lieu chargé de souvenirs. Nous avons choisi de la garder et de la rénover afin de la transformer en une maison de vacances accueillante, que nous aimons partager avec les voyageurs.

La maison se trouve dans un cadre paisible, au cœur du village de Saint-Georges-de-la-Rivière. J’aime particulièrement le charme de la campagne environnante, la proximité de la mer, et l’authenticité du train touristique qui passe l’été devant la maison. Le village est calme, accueillant et idéal pour profiter à la fois des plages, des marchés locaux et des balades dans la nature.
What makes this property unique
Séjourner ici, c’est vivre une expérience unique dans une ancienne petite gare. Autrefois, les voyageurs s’y retrouvaient pour prendre le train et partir en vacances : c’était un véritable lieu de départ. Devenue maison d’habitation, puis maison de vacances, elle est aujourd’hui chargée de souvenirs et d’histoire. Et aujourd’hui encore, le train s’arrête à Saint-Georges-de-la-Rivière : quoi de mieux que de monter à bord pour rejoindre les marchés de Portbail ou de Carteret et prolonger cette expérience hors du temps ?
