Beautiful location with all the amenities anyone could need. Fishing was great right off the shore. While we were there temperatures were below freezing and owner took care of everything. Would definitely rent this place again. .
The property was beautiful and extremely cozy. The accommodations for fishing were excellent and the location was ideal. My wife fell in love with the entire weekend and we will be back soon !
We hosted clients for a work trip and had a great experience. We caught blue crabs from the dock and enjoyed the waterfront sunset with a cocktail on the porch. The property managers were excellent and communicative. Would highly recommend for a family getaway or work trip!
It was awesome! We cannot wait to come back. The house was super clean, comfy beds, peaceful and right on the water. Mr. Duhon is a great property manager.
Perfect location. We didn’t fish, but definitely the perfect spot to do so. House was well stocked. We really enjoyed the large outside covered area. The gate & door codes weren’t what were on the checkin instructions, but the host was quick to provide correct information.
Rented in Sargent for my sons 11th birthday. Had a few friends with us. House was amazing and the boys couldnt stop fishing. Will definitely rented again and save as a favorite in Sargent.
Very new and nice space. Cold A/C and nice bedrooms upstairs. Long stairs may not be for everyone Great location close to Charlie’s baitcamp. Great shade under the car port in the afternoon
Joe was awesome anytime I had a question he was available to answer. The property was clean and spacious. The fishing dock and cleaning table was awesome!! We only made it to the beach once firing our stay the house had everything we needed. Our boat was easy accessible from the house and the neighbors were welcoming. Great area!!! Will rent again
Everyone loved the property. We think because of the hot weather, fishing wasn't so great on the property, but it was fun trying. LOL! All in all, We had a blast
Heads up to future guest, the stairs to upstairs bathroom/shower might not be ideal for the elderly.
My husband and I stayed here for our 13th anniversary. I want to start by saying this place is so clean! We have NEVER stayed at a house so clean. It was so peaceful staying here. The cleaning station has a very nice set up and the dock is very well taken care of. Everything here is very well take care of! We unfortunately experienced a red tide but even though there was a red tide, we still caught fish! I hooked a monster but my line broke so I highly recommend bringing a strong enough fishing pole and strong enough line! I would also recommend bringing a canopy if you’re going to be fishing all day. The host was very kind and very helpful! Thank you so much for everything! We cannot wait to come back!
My husband and I stayed the weekend 11/11 for our 25th Anniversary and totally enjoyed the stay! The house was clean, modern and equipped! The hosts made sure to include all the little things you may forget or didn't know you needed. The fish were not biting BUT we did have 30mph wind that weekend so that's understandable. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing time at a lovely beach home.
This rental house was beautiful inside and out. It is furnish with everything you will need for your get away. The sunset and sunrise at this house are breathtaking. We had so much fun fishing off the pier. We will book this house again.
On our stay we had family range from 60-12 and it was something for everyone to enjoy. There is construction going on next door but it was not a problem at all. The view of the inter coastal waters with the ships are amazing. The beach is not even 5 minutes away. We had an absolutely amazing time. The property manager was amazing as well with communication.
We had a great time during our stay. Beautiful home, generous owners provided coffee, seasonings, and other unexpected niceties. Great shower, board games and puzzles were there. The crabbing was excellent and the AC was ice cold. Nice flat screen TVs in every room. Comfortable beds, very meticulously clean, full size washer and dryer. No complaints, don't trespass the neighboring property, and only use the one dock out front and you'll have smooth sailing. Plus the beautiful San Bernard National Wildlife Refuge is just 20 minutes away.
We had a blast! The house was comfortable and well stocked. The fishing was great even though it was cold during the first week of March. We caught several keeper sheepshead at the point, some black drum and a few flounders. Given than the weather was in the 40s we did not get to use the kayaks but having them available was an added plus. The kids enjoyed all the toys and checking on the crab traps daily.
this place was clean spacious and alot of options for fishing it also had everything we needed there and more and great communication we will definitely be back

Why they chose this property
This property is a blend of the best indoor/outdoor living around! You will not lack amenities, indoor, and the outdoor activities are endless. You will have access to tons of waterfront from which to fish and crab. If you prefer to venture out, you will have access to 2 awesome kayaks to go fishing or just explore. Rain or shine, outdoor gatherings are no problem. The patio clearance is 14 ft so there is plenty of room for ALL activities!
What makes this property unique
No one will be driving by the camp as it is located at the end of the road/canal behind a gate! If you are hiring one of the local fishing guides, they can pick you up or drop you off at our dock. We are just minutes from Joey's boat launch you will have access to tons of shoreline for crabbing, fishing, or whatever your heart desires! In warmer months, the crabs are large and plentiful. Otherwise, you can expect to catch a variety of species from the bank/dock, we catch redfish, black drum, speckled trout, sand trout, flounder, alligator gar, mullet, and great bait (shrimp, bait crabs, shiners, finger mullet).
