Paradise Found is a hidden waterfront retreat, with unrestricted views of Chinquapin Creek, right off the inter coastal waterway. Escape from the city to our relaxing and newly renovated getaway for fishermen and families. Only at Paradise Found can one find great fishing as well as a place loaded for family fun. A lighted fishing pier is excellent for catching speckled trout, red fish, gar and flounder under the lights. Bring your chicken necks for crabbing along the pier during the day. A private neighborhood boat ramp is available for those wanting to fish on Matagorda Bay. Matagorda is a short drive for family entertainment and restaurants. Look no further than Paradise Found for your fishing and family fun adventures.

It was windy cold and a little rainy and we still caught red fish and trout!!! We had a great time and great food! This was our second time staying here, we do plan to come back!

Fantastic Place and Awesome Fishing

Nice Fishing and Hunting lodging. Place was very clean and well stocked if you forgot something. Thank You for gift basket. Amazing Fishing experience offl the dock in the back. Excellent outdoor lighting. We plan to book this place again and again. .

Super Cool Fish Camp!

My family had a great time! Super cool little fish camp. We caught a lot of fish & crabs. Also got a lot of bait at the ditch close to the house. We’ll definitely book again.

What a great little waterfront house. Everything was thought out and in working order. Jesse was excellent with communication and even had snacks and bottle of wine upon our arrival. We will be back soon!

Second Time and Only Got Better

It was my second stay and it was even better than my first visit. My Birthday Fishing Trip was the best ever!! Fishing was steady and just relaxing, hanging out on the balcony while grilling and taking in the scenery made my birthday trip Awesome. Peaceful, Safe, Easy and Beautiful is how I would describe my stay. Will be back

48th anniversary fishing trip

It is just what you'd expect for a fishing cabin with added amenities like AC, 2 indoor bathrooms with showers and a TV. The hosts were great - even left us a bottle of wine for our anniversary. It started to fill up closer to the 4th of July weekend but was quiet and peaceful before that. Fishing was good, too. We caught Christmas in July in Matagorda and snagged some early Christmas gifts. Great stay!

Perfect Duck/Fishing camp

This is the perfect little getaway with the family. Has all the amenities you need to enjoy your stay. My boys loved the little upstairs nook. The cabin is very sturdy as we rode out a storm with very strong winds one night. The dock has fishing lights and a bucket to keep your bait. Right down the road is a great place to catch bait with a cast net. There is also a boat ramp in the area. We loved it and plan to be back soon.

We loved this stay with Jesse!

Jesse's rental was so Peaceful and has everything you need.. Toiletries were complete..bath towels new..Jesse even had bottle wine and snacks ready for kids, icepack and even chicken in freezer for crabbing! Only 1 fishing light but its bright and we caught good fish..it was amazing place..the inside is big enough to move around esp with kids...dvds were there missing dvds in the cases etx but that wasnt a big deal. ..game boards!! We loved Candy Land... the shower was amazing....the patio was relaxing etc...

A True Paradise

The cabin was absolutely amazing! It is perfectly hidden on the Texas Coast. We arrived at the cabin with a bottle of wine and snacks waiting on us. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and has everything you need for your stay. All the appliances you need our available and clean. Everything worked and they even have a great gas Webber grill on the patio for cooking steaks. We didn't fish as much as we wanted due to the weather, but the host left us rigged up rods that were ready for fishing. The kids loved the loft above the kitchen, and we spent the majority of our time watching DVDs from the collection. The upstairs patio is the perfect place to unwind and take in the scenery. I highly recommend paradise found; it is a true coastal treasure.
