Oceanfront historic gem on great block
If you are looking for an authentic Wrightsville Beach experience, this is your place! Our family has owned this 1890 single family house since at least 1913. It still feels like an old fashioned cottage but has been updated to add WIFI and to provide year round comfort with central cooling and heating. We have four bedrooms and three baths plus a pullout sofa in one of the two living rooms. This place oozes with charm. Just sitting out on one of the two porches will bring you an amazing sense of serenity. We have generally rented only to friends but decided to expand to VRBO to let more people get a feel of old Wrightsville Beach with modern comforts. Our cottage is very close to Trailborne ( formerly known as the Blockade Runner) so water sports rentals are super easy. You can walk to the center of town and visit the Trolley Stop for a hot dog or Kohls for an ice cream cone or the Workshop for coffee. Go another block and buy your groceries at Robert's. Just thinking of those special places makes me smile. Wrightsville Beach is a special place and staying in our family's cottage will make your Wrightsville Beach experience even more incredible. Enjoy!

Located in Wrightsville Beach, this cottage is near a water park and on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach. South End Surf Shop and New Hanover County Arboretum are also worth visiting. Make sure you get close to the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
