Someone is living in this home

When we arrived, someone was living in the home. Host couldn’t be reached, we had no where to stay. Took over an hour and half on the phone with Vrbo to get an email stating I would be refunded.

This listing was removed (inactivated) on VRBO in July 2023 when it was occupied by a long term tenant. I am not certain what caused this listing discrepancy. However, I am truly disheartened that this family was inconvenienced — and have offered this same sentiment as soon as I learned that this booking existed. Many Blessings, FORMER VRBO OWNER (I am still disappointed to see that VRBO won’t “turn off” this listing…even after an extensive conversation with their support team about it following this ordeal. My solution until resolved was to block the calendar for 2 years). Note: To future potential tenants, please extend grace - as this situation is clearly an anomaly…. This has never happened.

I actually was not able to make the trip. My friends said the house was in a neighborhood when we thought it was more out in the horse country. Worked out fine

Thank you for your overall 4-star rating! The home itself is physically located in a subdivision— in Ocala, FL. Ocala is in fact the horse capital of the world! There is easy viewing and access to equestrian events and activities nearby at the Ocala Horse Park, HITS, World Equestrian Center and on simple drives through the town! Ocala/Marion County is known as “The Horse Capital of the World®,” and with good reason. This is the place where thoroughbred horses are born, trained and transformed into champions!

A Blessed Family Reunion

My family had a great time staying at this house. The place is beautiful and it gave us access to talk to each other until we fell asleep . There’s no hotel that can compare to this place. If the situation present itself again I would be very happy to stay here. I would give the house five stars but it didn’t have a game room or hot tub.
