The location was great for going to Smokey mountain park, Dollywood, and Gatlinburg pigeon Forge areas. The two level cabin worked great for us and was like having two separate areas yet still in the same house. Very easy check in and out. Would definitely book again if in the area. Even saw a bear three cabins down crossing the road.

Amazing stay with an incredible mountain view!My family and I had a wonderful experience staying at this cabin. The property was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had an amazing view of the Smoky Mountains. Everything we needed during our stay was provided, which made it very easy for us to relax and enjoy our vacation together.David and Jill were also fantastic hosts. They were very communicative, kind, and responsive throughout our stay. We experienced an unexpected issue with the smoke detector, and they responded quickly, took our concerns seriously, and did everything they could to make the situation right. We really appreciated how understanding and accommodating they were.Overall, this was a 5-star experience and a memorable first-hand experience of the Smoky Mountains and Tennessee for my family. We’re very grateful for the hospitality and would absolutely consider staying here again on a future trip!

About the host

Hosted by David and Jill

Host profile image
Hi! We're David and Jill, owners of Stay for the Adventure Vacation Homes. We are thrilled to be able to share our mountain and beach properties with you in hopes that you'll create new family memories and have some exciting adventures! We have 4 young boys and love to travel as a family and spend time outdoors.

Why they chose this property

This property offers the unique feature of being both in the mountains and also minutes away from downtown Gatlinburg. The views from the two decks are absolutely stunning, the trees from the mountains seem to pop out at you. As my son said, "I feel like they're coming right at me!" You can play a game of pool or take a dip in the hot tub while enjoying the mountain view . There are more than enough features in this cabin to keep you comfortable and entertained for the duration of your stay.

This property is also located strategically for folks who want to venture to downtown Gatlinburg and yet avoid the traffic heading in from Pigeon Forge. With parking and all it is about a 5 minute drive from the cabin. There is also easy access to hiking trails and scenic drives in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

You will also appreciate the gentle and manageable slope for the drive up to the cabin and the resort amenities offered such as the seasonal outdoor pool, fitness center, and clubhouse.

Vacationing as a family has created the most beautiful and memorable moments for us and we would be honored to share our cabin in hopes that our guests would create long-lasting memories of their own.
