great place just nothing spectacular

loved it was very clean the smell people complained about is just the air wick smell we unplugged all in every room and had no issues after that also we had bag full of clean bed linens and pillow already washed. have no complaints here

The perfect location

The cons: the property had a smell that was a combination of musty/stinky and air fresheners. The property wasn't visibly dirty but the smells made it feel that way. We brought our own bedding, towels, cleaning wipes and kept sandals on at all times and made it work. The property itself (smells aside) was great! Convenient lay out, never had to worry about finding a parking spot and right next door to the pool. We came with pets and there are parks/grassy areas very close by. We loved the location, close to everything but yet didn't feel like a very busy/loud area. I think that replacing the carpets and taking care of the smells would yield 5 star reviews on this property.

Property location and first floor great!! Would have been nice to have had charcoal grill to use. Property needs updated, paint, caulk around sink, refrigerator seal was broke. No toilet paper for new arrivals, no sheets, towels, cleaning sponges etc. No ice cube trays, keurig would be better than old coffee maker. One knife that was so dull our multifunction tool worked better. Slept 8 but table for 4, sleeper sofa good, but cramped if needed to love seat sofa.

Great location, responsive host, overall great stay but needs a deep clean

Overall this was a great stay. We booked last minute and our host was 100% responsive and helpful including accommodating a very, very late arrival due to a pet emergency. Front porch is great for relaxing. If you are staying with a pet, there is a park right across the street, very convenient. Also very convenient is the market around the block on the corner, it has everything you need! There is also a "poop bag" station in the small backyard area. There is also a patch of grass in the front for your pet. Worked perfectly for our puppy. The apartment was clean, surfaces and primary touch points and all beds and pillows were clean and in good shape - we brought all our own linens. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils, pots/pans, etc. I didn't remember reading in the booking that you needed to bring your own paper towels, toilet paper, etc. so we had to run to the corner market for those things. So be sure to bring those with you, plus hand/bar soap and coffee filters (we did leave behind what was left of ours :) ). It could use a good deep clean (very dusty baseboards, curtains, etc.). The major downside was the smell in the bedrooms. Every room had an "Airwick" type plug in and once we took those out - because the smell was very overwhelming - you found out why they were all plugged in once they came out for an hour or so...the smell was the carpets. It was really hard to take the smell all day and night so we alternated between opening the windows and plugging in the Airwicks for short periods of time. New carpet would take care of the issue no doubt! Again, overall it was a great stay. Property had a great layout. Short, easy walk to the beach, and also the bayside. Great front porch. Super pet friendly. Amazing host. The pool was also very nice!! Just needs new carpet or flooring in bedrooms to eradicate the horrible smell.
