This charming cottage is the perfect place to slow down & enjoy the area's peaceful surrounding. For those looking to explore all the UP has to offer - you are within minutes of trails, fishing, skiing, waterfalls & much more. Whatever you desire, a retreat to our cottage is the perfect way to recharge, reconnect & make new memories! EV 14-50 amp outlet, and sauna included. **Comfortably houses 6 adults. Sleeps 8 for those just looking for a place to rest your heads.

This house location is central to the many outdoor adventures people flock to in the UP.  Perfect for family fun, couples’ romantic getaway, ski/snowmobile retreats (ride right from the house to trails only couple blocks away), fisherman/water sports, hunting, hiking, ATV rides, snowshoeing and many other activities for up to 8 guests! Pets welcome!

The home is located in a quiet, quant, old mining town surrounded by trees, privacy and wildlife. Start off your day enjoying the sauna or soaking in the hot tub, Finish your day under the stars in your private back yard by roasting marshmallows, with complimentary hot cocoa & apple cider, around the firepit.

Cozy Cottage is fully equipped to be your home-away-from-home. This updated 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom offers 2 bedrooms on main floor, 1 large attic bedroom suite upstairs with private 1/2 bath, and a sauna on the screened-in porch in back. The master bedroom is connected to the Jack & Jill full bath.

The kitchen is furnished with appliances including refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, stove, newer countertops, pots, blender, crock pot, pans, dishware, glasses, silverware, pantry items, seasonings and of course, all you need for coffee each morning! Enjoy adult beverages? Wine glasses, cocktail glasses and a cocktail mixing set are also provided. Meals can be made in our fully stocked kitchen and shared together around the dining room table, or take it to the back patio for an epic barbecue. If cooking isn't your thing, there are 2 great restaurants less than a mile away!

The living room has a 60" smart tv with a Roku. The main floor bedrooms each have a 40" smart tv. All beds are made with fresh, clean linens before each stay including bath towels.

You'll find many other comforts throughout the house. There is a large selection of DVDs, puzzles, books and games for a cozy night in. Prefer the outdoors? A fire pit with chairs, patio table, charcoal grill, grilling accessories and marshmallow sticks is available April through September. The sauna is located on an enclosed porch.

The EV 14-50 amp outlet is located on the side of the house at the end of the driveway. Bring your charger and enjoy charging while you sleep! Driveway on property can park up to 6 cars or 3 -4 truck/trailers in driveway and in front of house, depending on size.

This home is located in an amazing spot. The neighborhood is very nice with friendly people everywhere. It is a short drive to many of the best waterfalls and of course, the Porcupine Mountains. Well maintained and stocked. A very pleasant stay and would return for our next Eastern U.P, stay.

Nice get away

Clean ,cozy, laid back, very comfortable. Lots of things to see in the area and good places to eat nearby. Waterfalls and lake Superior minutes away. Had the best time. The hosts were awesome and texted me back right away when I had a guestion. Was perfect for our family of 6. We plan on going back.

Good property for access to the UP area. Property could use a smoke detector and at least 1 carbon monoxide detector. An upgraded mattress would be from our standpoint a good investment.

The place itself was in a great location. Close to the Porcupine mountains and other areas we were interested in seeing. Everything was as described in the description. The only issue that we had was the cleanliness...the bathtub/shower still had hair, a used razor and bar of soap in it. There were cleaning supplies in the house, so we washed the tub and walls of shower before use. The couch and other areas of the house were covered in white dog hair. Anything you put down had dog hair on it when you picked it back up. Not a huge deal and definitely not a deal breaker for us as we also have dogs at home, but think the house needed to be vacuumed again. Was a pleasant stay!

Why they chose this property

My husband has been snowmobiling in White Pine since he was a child. The opportunity to own a home here provides our entire family the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the UP in this charming, quiet town. I was born in the UP, but due to the military, our family moved often. The UP is in my blood. I love this tranquil region.

What makes this property unique

Being just 6 miles from the Porcupine Mountains & Lake Superior and right off the snowmobile trails makes this home a convenient location for experiencing all the UP has to offer. I love making meals, so the kitchen is well stocked with spices, pots, pans, and baking necessities. My husband is not a fan of coffee or tea and has always enjoyed a fully stocked refreshment bar offering a large variety of options. Enjoy coffee, tea, hot cocoa, hot cider, and flavored water mixes. Our home is also well stocked with games, coloring books, books, puzzles, and DVDs for the whole family. Plus, the ChargePoint charger provides the confidence to drive our EV from Nebraska without worrying about charging in this region.
