We have stayed here multiple times and it has always been clear, easy, functional. The kitchen is set up for easy use and a big plus is the vent fan over the stove.
My family of 4 stayed during February school break. The house is in a great location a few minutes from the mountain but nice and quiet. The house is stocked with everything you need. We would definitely stay again.
This place is the perfect spot for mountain biker aficionado. Its the idea location with the right amenities to make your stay more than enjoyable.
We will be back again!!
We stayed 4 nights and had a great time. The house comes equipped with everything you want in a rental, and the host was readily responsive to our few questions. The location is perfect - we mountain biked twice from the house, the rest only a short drive away. The bike storage shed even had a pump and tools for use. I highly recommend this house!
The cabin has a great location, close to town but still off the road and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked and it was very clean. The host was great with communication. We very much enjoyed our stay. We were there to X-C ski and the weather didn't fully cooperate, but this cabin would also be great in the mountain biking season.
This was our first time staying at this property. It had everything we needed for a great weekend of mtn biking. Very quiet and peaceful location. Would come back again for sure.
A perfect home base for anything you want to do in Burke. The extra's like storage shed and work shop to accommodate bikes and skis etc is a huge plus!
Firstly, we loved the cabin and the location. I rated cleanliness at three because of the master bathroom smell, the carpets, cobwebs in the living room on the bench and sticky vinyl floors. There is an outside flood lamp that is hanging by the wire. I know this is just a vacation rental but this cabin needs some love before the reputation starts to slip. Invest a little now in solid stain for the porches or lot latter when they need to have deck boards replaced. We will definitely consider a return visit. I posted a 5 star overall rating because I appreciate your space. The bike shed was great. We did not use the grill or the fire pit. The master bathroom, frankly, was gross.
Great location. Beautiful upgrades since we stayed here 6 years ago. Excellent view from the porch and fire pit of Burke mountain. Bike to the trails or to town. Quick communication with the local owner. We already booked for next year. We rented both neighboring houses for a large group.
House was very well laid out for a vacation stay. Our host paid attention to the details which made getting settled very easy. A couple of strong points were the mud room, kitchen and bike storage. Will stay here again!
We rented the house for 5 days to visit Kingdom Trails. The house had everything we needed and more. It’s a short bike ride into town but be ready for the hill back up and the driveway is even steeper. We had an amazing stay and Robin was so easy to talk to. We will definitely be back!
Another fabulous stay in an East Burke Rental property
The house was exactly as billed and was the perfect space to relax after a long day on the trails. Robin and Al are superb hosts and every detail was thought of in terms of our stay. There is a matching house next door and we're thinking it will be great to get another family to stay there the next time we come up. Looking forward to many more fun times in East Burke in the future.
Great jumping off point to Kingdom Trails with biker's amenities
Awesome location, and awesome property. A 2-minute bike up the road to Kitchel, you can lap Kitchel all day long from this place. In terms of KT, the location is fairly centralized and ideal. Biking downtown to E. Burke or The Tiki Bar is a 5 minute trip. Property itself has everything you would need for a comfort: Plenty of bathrooms, coffee maker, dishwashers, large new fridge, Cable TV for sports, a big kitchen table for your group, an outdoor gas grill, bike storage shed & tools, a bike wash station, a fire pit with lots of seating, a large wrap around deck. I will be coming back here for certain.
