About this property

When you arrive at your vacation getaway, you’ll enter The Manor Cottage. It’s a super cute family friendly 3-bedroom home.

There is a large living room with a large screen TV and dining area. A fully operating kitchen is available for use. The kitchen has lots of coffee, cream, sugar and a tea kettle. There are lots of games and toys for the family to use.

We have high speed Wi-Fi available

In the back of the house is a furnished sunroom with a large tv for watching all the games!

The Cottage has 3 bedrooms, the Blue Room on the 1st floor has a queen bed. On the 2nd floor there is the “Moose Room” with a queen bed and a twin bed. The “Buffalo Room” on the 2nd floor has a queen and twin bed as well. There are luggage racks in each room and plenty of available space.

All of our rooms have all the linens you need, extra towels, blankets and pillows. Also provided are all the hand and shower soaps, shampoos and conditioners.

In the living room there are 2 couches that make out into double beds. In the sunroom there is a twin day bed. The house can sleep up to 12.

As a Notre Dame Alum I love living in South Bend! My wife Peri and I moved out here from the East Coast several years ago.

Why they chose this property

Your vacation getaway is on a quiet street and parking is easy. There is driveway parking for 3 cars and another 2 cars street front. If you are in town for a game weekend, you can park at the house for free and walk to the game. The walk back after the game is an easy one and faster than driving back! There are a few places to eat in walking distance as well.

If you are visiting South Bend for other events, we are close to downtown South Bend and Mishawaka. We are about 35 minutes from the beach at Lake Michigan. About 45 minutes from the Outlet Mall in Michigan City. About 50 minutes to Shipshewana. Red Bud racetrack is only 30 minutes away!

What makes this property unique

Upon your arrival, we are here to greet you on arrival and make sure you have everything you need. We will be happy to show you your rooms and where everything is, especially the coffee bar and cookies! After that there is a code to the door and you can come and go as you, please.

We want you have a great time while here, however, the house is not the “party house” atmosphere. We do allow certain events and would be happy to talk with you about what you are interested in. We have had several wedding parties, showers, family reunions, etc. If you would like to have an event, please let us know, we would be happy to discuss it with you.
