When you walk into this oceanfront townhouse the first thing you notice through its expansive windows is the shimmering sea, which is so close it seems to fill up the room. Your eye is drawn across the channel to the neighbor islands of Lana`i and Moloka`i, green mountains looming out of the water. When able to drag your gaze from the panoramic exterior view, you notice the interior color scheme—watery blues, seafoam greens and energizing coral set against a backdrop of light, cool gray. It is then you realize that the colors inside echo the gorgeous vista outside. Simply jaw-dropping.
Now you’ll want to take your time absorbing each element of the Coastal themed interior design. A Sunburst mirror hanging over a Chevron wooden cabinet greets you at the entrance, signaling an of-the-moment scheme. Walking into the contemporary kitchen you take in the stainless-steel appliances, custom cabinets and high-end quartz countertops. You see a beautiful aquamarine beveled mirror covered in capiz shells, anchored below by a wooden dining table with slipcovered chairs and sapphire blue upholstered bench. Pulled toward the ocean, you walk into the living room. The sectional sofa sitting on a hand-tufted wool rug looks inviting with its overstuffed cushions and designer throw pillows. A shagreen cocktail table, mother-of-pearl floor lamp and gently distressed oyster media cabinet make it obvious that you are not in an average rental property. Your eyes linger on a textured teak lounge chair wrapped in rope that sits in an enviable, all-windows corner of the room. You think, “The perfect place for whale watching!” With a last glance before leaving, you notice that while the giclée art hanging over the sofa reflects a lovely lagoon and reef image, it cannot begin to compete with the image you see through your very own windows.
You soon discover that the remaining rooms of the home mirror the quality and beauty you have already seen. With extra-large windows, skylights and vaulted ceilings, the space is open, roomy and light as air. While you enjoy the soft breeze of the Tradewinds in an open-air environment, you also appreciate the fact that the home is cooled by a Daikin Multi-Zone air conditioning system. Your practical side also cheers the full-sized washer and dryer for your private use inside the home. With a playground like Maui at your disposal, the less time spent on laundry, the better.
Upon inspection, you see that most of the furnishings are high quality brands you recognize: Lexington, Palacek, Tommy Bahama and Massoud. You see art by Gray Malin, lighting by Hinckley and Tech Lighting, rugs by Jaipur, and bedding by Hotel Collection. When reserving you knew that the home had recently undergone an extensive renovation and refurnishing, yet the result exceeds your wildest expectations. You can hardly believe that you were fortunate enough to find such a place!
How satisfying for you to learn that the three bedrooms are well separated geographically, ensuring your privacy. The fact that there are two Master Bedrooms (each with king beds) makes sharing the home with another couple easy and comfortable; and the third bedroom with its two queen beds and the queen sofa sleeper in the Living Room offer ideal sleeping solutions for children or single adults in your party. This home-away-from-home can comfortably accommodate up to 9 guests! The thought of housing your entire family all under one roof during your Maui vacation is especially meaningful.
The two lovely bathrooms are large and well appointed, with a walk-in shower on the lower level and an oversized soaking tub/shower combination on the upper. Custom tile work, quartz and granite countertops, and windows with views of ocean and sky make you want to linger, even in these rooms. Thick towels, complimentary soap, hair dryers, and even makeup mirrors are generously provided for your use.
Deciding to more fully explore the kitchen, you open the dark gray, soft-close cabinets and find them fully stocked. Lovely China dinnerware, high-quality stainless-steel flatware, stemless wine glasses, cutlery, cookware…the list goes on and on. There are even some spices left by thoughtful previous guests, providing one less thing for you to purchase. It suddenly occurs to you: Oceanfront dining is always a special treat! Right away you plan for your first meal to take place on the Lanai.
You barbeque local fish and enjoy cocktails at the new pool side grills while some in the family swim in the pool and the children play on the grassy lawn nearby. Upon returning home, you all sit down together at the dining table on the Lanai. It seems easy to offer up a prayer of thanks or join in a toast of celebration as you watch the sun sink over the ocean, turning the sky into a blaze of color.
Later, when the sound of waves lapping the shore has almost lulled you to sleep, you realize that you have not been this relaxed in a very long time. Thank goodness that the end of your first day in Paradise brings with it the promise of more to come. Your vacation is only just beginning!

This is a beautiful property. Right on the ocean the waves and ocean sounds put you to sleep at night. Great pool with ocean views awesome beach to go swimming and snorkeling in. The house is amazing lots of space. Lots of light really nice finishings would definitely come back again.
Looked just like the pictures. Comfortable beds, amazing beach, watched whales from the balcony. The two bathrooms were a little tight with the 8 of us, as the upstairs one feels like it’s for the two guests staying upstairs. As someone else mentioned, parking with two cars could be a little tricky as there are only 3 guest spots but also had luck parking right across the street ahead of the bus stop. Would recommend!
The views were spectacular! The only issue was that one day photographers and wind surfers took over the lawn where we were trying to relax one afternoon. After contacting the property manager we never saw them Alain. Not sure if it was a coincidence or if the property manager somehow took care of it, but we really appreciated being able to use the space again!! We had an awesome experience on the island and in this comfy home!!
Nobody was welcoming. working on our AC unit that was a surprise but they got it working. The the proximity and the views of the ocean were terrific. The space was great. We were able to spread out six of us.a few minor maintenance problems like a leaky bathroom sink on the main floor for faucet. master bedroom, first floor electrical outlet not working. couldn’t turn on the lamp. and ants in the kitchen on the island counter.

Aloha Terry,
I am very concerned about your review to your trip and would like to first apologies for your first comment about "nobody was welcoming". If you could please give me a little more detail about the situation, I need to address this immediately.
The AC went down prior to your arrival and we were working with the AC company to diligently have the issue resolved for you stay. I do apologize that they were still there working to have the AC fixed for your stay; it must have taken them longer than needed to make sure the system was running properly.
I appreciate you letting me know about the issue you saw. I did send over our maintenance team to check on the leaky faucet. The breaker had tripped which caused the lamp outlet to not work properly, so he flipped the breaker back on and the lamp and outlets function properly now. We are looking into any ant situation in the kitchen. The cleaning team did not notice any during their cleaning after your departure. We will keep a close eye on this moving forward.
Again, I appreciate your review and feedback so that we can make sure we are providing a wonderful space for our guests. I look forward to your clarification on your first comment at your earliest convenience.
We went in March & were able to see whales breaching from the balcony along with sea turtles on the beach. The condo was just as in the pictures, well stocked & decorated. We went snorkeling and even saw a few colorful fish. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We had a great time with family. The condo is oceanfront and we’re able to sit on the lanai and watch sea turtles swimming around. We also swam and did some snorkel and fishing right on the beach in front of the condo. The pictures about this place are right on. The sunsets in the evening were breath taking. I would book again on our next visit to Maui.
Our family had a wonderful stay in West Maui. The property had everything we needed and was in a beautiful location. We would definitely choose to stay here again.
The host was very responsive to inquiries prior to our arrival. Property was as advertised; right on the beach and it was a good swim beach with outstanding views. The grounds are beautiful, well kept, and the pool was great. We loved hearing the waves at night and loved the more intimate-feeling area as it was mostly condos around us vs. the huge mega resort type properties further south. The kitchen was mostly well equipped although we did have to sharpen the knives as they were extremely dull (luckily there’s a nice electric sharpener). Also, the ice maker didn’t put out a lot of ice so we had to purchase extra. These were very minor issues and otherwise this property was perfect for our needs and I would totally recommend it to any large party and would come here again if we come back with a group. These last two comments aren’t a critique of the property but just good-to-know items if you have a large party. We had 8 in our group and there is only one dedicated parking spot per unit (and 3 guest spots shared by all units that were always occupied). With 8 people, you almost definitely need 2 rental cars but I will say we were always able to park right across the street so not a big deal. Also good to know is the main level, which is set up to sleep 6 people, has one bathroom with dual access so requires a bit of cooperation (the other bathroom is upstairs in the large master suite). We were an extended family and made it work fine.
We had an excellent stay in this beautiful property. The condo was clean and well-stocked, with amazing views of the water. We saw turtles every day from the balcony. Highly recommend for a great family vacation!
My family of seven stayed here for four nights. It was beautiful and the location was very convenient for beach access. We loved the included beach chairs. I did quite a bit of snorkeling and saw some cool wildlife right outside the condo. We would absolutely return.
What an amazing property! Without question our favorite vacation of all time. Literally steps from the beach on one of the most amazing places on the planet. We were so happy to be able to stay with you! Thank you again!
Unfortunately, we had some problems during our stay. While we appreciated the condo was well-equipped, and was a prime location, we experienced several issues that significantly impacted our comfort:– A lizard in the bed on the first night, which made the room unusable for us afterward. – Ongoing gnats throughout the stay, making it difficult to leave food out– Flying red ants inside the unit – A roof leak during the rain, where water was coming into the unit near the TV. I had to reach out and take extra steps to cover the area myself to prevent damage. At first, no one used the upstairs bedroom due to the lizard on bed. Then the next night we attempted to sleep, but so many gnats were around, that my daughter decided to sleep downstairs on the sofa. She was not able to sleep comfortably. My other guests also were uncomfortable sleeping in the downstairs bedroom with the two queen beds because there were red ants also.So by the second night I have three of my guest sleeping in living room. We were careful to keep doors and screens closed at all times. We understand that some exposure to insects can be expected in Hawaii, but the volume of pests along with the maintenance issue of the leaking roof went beyond what we feel is reasonable for a rental property. These issues affected our ability to fully use and enjoy the space, and required additional effort on our part during the stay. Let alone not using bedrooms. Pest control and maintenance need to be managed.

Aloha Elizabeth,
Thank you for your stay as well as your review. I wanted to reach out to you about the issues that you encountered during your stay.
- Being in Hawaii and having lush vegetation around the property, we do have gecko's (lizards) that frequent the property. I'm not sure I understand why the bedroom was unusable after the gecko sighting? I wish I was informed immediately after this incident and I could have had our cleaning team change out the linens and wipe down the room if you had wanted.
- The gnats unfortunately have been plentiful around the island due to the storms we have been encountering from the South. With the extra moisture and lack of breeze due to the Kona Winds, the entire island has seen a major increase in these gnats. With the trade winds set to return we will see them go away as they normally do.
- We are looking into the leak in the living room area from the skylight. The guests prior to your reservation battled through the historical Kona Low storm with no leaks during their stay so we are a bit puzzled where the leak came from. I was informed that Emmett got onto the roof right after he was informed about the leak and caulked the areas he thought might be the cause. We are still looking further into the issue.
- I am looking into the flying red ants that you mentioned. I'm not sure we have ever encountered this before.
I thank you for your review as it helps us to provide the best space for our guests.
