We enjoyed our stay here while visiting our daughter in Durham. The house had comfy beds and clean bathrooms and was just a few minutes from downtown. And the water cooler was a nice bonus!
The home was cozy, the neighborhood was busy but we never felt uncomfortable. We traveled to Durham for my bachelorette party (no parties in the house!), and it was so nice to be able to relax in a home together vs a hotel in separate rooms.
We loved the front porch, as we lounged on that quite a bit!
Clean house with new appliances.
Nicely Updated.
Good communication with owner.
Could use more/better cookware and dishes.
A dining table would be a good addition.
Helpful neighbors.
Was in town with friends for a concert. Overall, the house served our needs. Would suggest cleaning/vacuuming the cushions on the porch furniture as part of the normal cleaning. Otherwise, the home was very clean. Also, a table and chairs would be nice for mealtime.
Location felt like I needed to lock the doors behind me. Outlets didn't work in any of the bathrooms. Fridge was brand new - so new that it wasn't put together inside and the shelves were wrapped in plastic and laying inside. It was fine for an overnight stay but not my favorite. Host communicated well and even told me how to get into the crawl space behind the house to reset the breaker for the outlets if I wanted to. We left a day early so we didn't go through the hassle.
