Was more remote than expected. That was our own fault. It did take away eveningPlans because of the roads.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you had the chance to experience the quiet and scenery, which is something many guests really enjoy about staying here. Being just a 30-minute drive from downtown Golden and a 15-minute drive to Blackhawk allows for a nice mix of access to towns and a more peaceful, tucked-away setting. We truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us.
This is a great place to stay. Beautiful views for your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail. Everything you need in the kitchen. Host was responsive and accommodating.
I'm gonna start off with the house is beautiful, and the views even more so. The kitchen was very well stocked, one of the best stocked I've ever experienced. The hot tub was perfect and quite enjoyable. There were no tv's in the rooms, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but my teens ended up sleeping on the couch because they wanted to watch movies and play on their Xbox. We ended up loosing power for two days of our trip due to high winds, which meant we lost water too. The owners were extremely helpful, and refunded us because we had to cut our trip short due to no power. Over all it's a beautiful home, it was clean, and spacious for our large family.
Our family of 6 with adult children enjoyed the large space. The location was a good home base for exploring the area. The host was readily available for any questions which was appreciated. You can’t beat the views from this home nestled in the mountains.
We had 6 of us (3 couples) and we all really enjoyed the house. It had everything you could need stocked and plenty of room for all of us to enjoy the stay. Only about 15 minutes from Golden and Black Hawk which was nice, although driving through those mountains after it snows was a little intimidating! We would definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting a peaceful stay in the mountains.
Had a great time there. Well stocked with everything you would need. Location is amazing. We were surprised with an over foot of snow, but host quickly had driveway clear for us. Great communication with host. We were all very impressed with the house and hot tub was very nice. Would rent again!
Owner provided detailed directions and countless amenities. Our family enjoyed the hot tub & the spectacular view. We took advantage of visiting Red Rocks and Buffalo Bill Museum & Gravesite. Radiant flooring in the basement was nice. We'll always remember Honey Bear.
This house exceeded our expectations. Starting with a kitchen that had all the amenities needed. A very nice pantry area.
Great indoor and outdoor seating areas. Indoor and outdoor eating areas. Not to forget amazing sunset views. The house was clean and inviting.

5 stars all the way around!! We have been coming to Colorado each fall to visit our daughters and this was by the BEST home we have stayed out. Beautiful views, great rooms and a large well-appointed kitchen. Outside jacuzzi and fire pit were perfect at the end of a long day of fun in the mountains. Had a few questions prior to our visit and Jeff was very timely in responding. Would definitely come back to this lovely home
I am a Denver native... grew up in the city. Used this opportunity to plan a vacation with hubby and kids to get away and allow our kids to get off their electronic devices and enjoy the outdoors. The property was amazing and felt like home away from home. We had everything we needed to cook and relax. The beds were so comfortable!! The owner was available and fast to respond to questions as they came up. Highly recommend and cannot wait to stay here again!!
The house has a spectacular view, beautiful interior, Extremely clean, wonderful, hot tub, fully stocked home in every way, from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the bedrooms. All we had to do was bring our own food and drinks, and have fun. The beds were very comfortable, and all of the furniture in the house was too.
Thank you to the owners for allowing our family to make amazing memories in your home!!! We hope we can come back next year. Thanks again.
This cabin was such a great find. A bit of of a drive into town but the views on the way up and down make it part of the overall experience. The cabin was comfortable and clean. There was more than enough space for 6 of us to spread out. Hot tub and fire pit were used every night. The view from the deck and living room was absolutely breathtaking. I briefly had an issue with the lock on the door (user error) and Jeff was quick to respond. All the info you need is easy to find in the cabin. It was a great set up for an adults getaway but would be great for families as well! I’d love to return one day with our kids. Looking forward to visiting again. Highly recommend!
The cabin was just as described.
Jeff was very responsive to any and all questions I had....which were quite a few.
The hot tub certainly eased the sore muscles after our hiking at the Golden Gate Canyon State Park, which is very close to the cabin.
The kitchen was absolutely great and fully stocked w/everything you need.
We certainly will go back.
Our group thoroughly enjoyed our time in Golden. The home is fabulous and very well stocked! Jeff is a great host and was quick to answer any questions. I’m from FL and was concerned about the drive up the mountain. It wasn’t bad at all, even at night. Definitely recommend this home and host!
Excellent choice for family. They had everything we needed and the house was clean. Owner checked in with us a few times to make sure everything was fine.. Driveway is steep, but you can just back your car up the drive way. It was not snowing when we stayed.
We booked last minute and I wasn’t sure what to expect. But it was amazing. The house is great and has everything you would need. The views and property are the best part, in my opinion. I would definitely stay again. It is far enough from everything to be able to get away but close enough to town (30 mins) to be able to enjoy downtown Golden, which is lovely!
