Charming Guest Suite Close to Downtown Golden

This private and spacious suite is the perfect place for enjoying your vacation. Located in the bottom floor of a private home this suite has a private entrance through the side of the house. Conveniently located at the base of the mountains and within walking distance to Coors, charming Downtown Golden and Natural Grocers, this suite has everything you need to feel all the comforts of home. Red Rocks is only a 15 minute drive from the house making it a great location if you're looking to see your favorite band at Red Rocks, the best venue in the world. The School of Mines is about a 2 minute drive and 15 minute walk to the suite. Colorado boasts over 300 days of sunshine a year and with the closest ski slopes only 45 minutes away and lots of hiking, biking and tubing to be explored, this is a spot for adventure that shouldn't be missed! We allow dogs for a one time non refundable fee of $50. License Number: BCA-41935 Occupancy of the unit is limited to five (5) unrelated persons if one of them agrees to sleep on the couch. Otherwise, 4 total occupants is a much more comfortable situation. There is a $10 fee per night for the additional person over 4.

Great Spot for Families

This place is in a great neighborhood close to playgrounds and shopping that you can walk to. The host was incredibly responsive and saved our entire vacation by assisting us with an unexpectedly late check in after several flight delays. Her communication and assistance was absolutely top notch. We would stay here again.

Beautiful suite - better than description

This is a lovely place to stay. The inside is actually nicer than the photos. The neighborhood wonderful - pollinator gardens maintained by almost every house and even in public spaces. 10 minute walk to foothills hiking. 10 minute walk to a fantastic burrito place for breakfast. The owners of the home live upstairs but will completely respect your privacy. If I could give the location and neighborhood 6 stars I would.

Heidi was super accommodating and responsive throughout the entire planning and stay. Great location, close to everything, cute and quite neighborhood, would definitely recommend staying there and would definitely stay there again.

Perfect for us

I could not have been happier with our experience. Very cozy stay and good wifi and location to Golden. We couldn’t be more grateful having been allowed to bring our pups with us and letting us stay through Christmas Day. It also snowed Christmas Eve and was a beautiful view! Thank you again I would definitely recommend this place

Comfortable and cozy in Golden

Nice sized apartment with room to spread out. We enjoyed the outdoor space before the snow came! Good neighborhood to walk in and easy access by car or walking to downtown Golden. The lighting is all overhead in the living/dining/kitchen area and a few lamps would be useful.

Golden Suite

Our hosts, Heidi provided numerous extras in her rental suite, qtips, blow dryers, shampoo, coffee, spices, etc. We would definitely book this suite again, the location was perfect for our family. Suite was very clean. The only negative things were the couch is very uncomfortable and needs replaced, I would replace with a small sectional as if there were four adults renting the unit, there's not enough seating available. The rental is also very loud during the day with the upstairs noise but we expected that. During sleeping hours and early morning, it was very quiet. Loved this rental!

This was an ideal location for our visit to Golden. We normally stay in a hotel, but the cost and proximity to things we wanted to do wasn't great. This allowed us to easily get to downtown Golden and spend time together in a comfortable apartment. The beds were comfortable, but the sound of people walking around upstairs would wake us up nightly. We decided that we would probably stay here again, but bring white noise machine.

Great location. Comfy beds and softest sheets I’ve ever slept on!! Quality furnishings. Cozy side yard and entrance. One bedroom did not have a curtain on the ground floor window. But we put pillows there and worked fine.

Great week long stay. Quiet neighborhood that is walking distance into the heart of downtown Golden. Private entrance with a nice patio area to sit and relax in the morning with coffee. The owner Heidi was very accommodating and helped us with some great local knowledge. Definitely would stay again.

Loud floors and ceilings

Heidi was wonderful to deal with. She was attentive and quick to answer any message I sent. But, the VRBO listing is a basement apartment for an inhabited house above. The floor for the house and ceiling for the apartment is the same and is loud for people in the basement. The people in the house were just walking from here to there but it's loud. Particularly at 5am. Also, tenants need to wash and put away all dishes before leaving. All the plates and silverware and coffee cups were very clean, but all the pint slipped through the cracks. They were definitely not clean. At all.

Great stay and awesome location

Beautiful, quiet neighborhood and nice area to walk our dog. It is also close to downtown and easy to ride our bikes to the creek bike path near downtown. It is a very spacious apartment and beds were very comfortable. The lighting in the main bedroom needs to be improved, it was very dim in the room. The kitchen had everything we needed, except we would have liked an automatic coffee maker. We had a nice 6 night stay.

We loved Heidi’s place and found it to be just as it was presented on the Vrbo website. It was very neat and clean and very well equipped. It was within walking distance to downtown Golden. Heidi responded quickly to our questions. We would definitely stay here again!
