About this property
At the gates of Hamburg in the old country
Our apartments are spacious and contain everything you are used to from home. The apartments are u. a. equipped with washing machine, flat screen TV, DVD / video, stereo and WiFi connection. The kitchens have dishwashers, ovens, microwaves and various small kitchen appliances.
Our house is framed by orchards in the Steinkirchen district of Bachenbrock. The Elbe is in sight and you can watch the ships sailing there on their way from or to Hamburg. Close to our house you will find a penny market and a restaurant with a sun terrace. The following transport connections are available: bus to Stade, Buxtehude, Jork, Steinkirchen approx. 200 m away; Autobahn A26 approx. 6 km, S-Bahn connection towards Hamburg - Cuxhaven approx. 6 km; Ferry connection Lühe - Schulau 4km.
The start of Hamburg is about 25 km away.
In addition to a well-developed infrastructure, Steinkirchen offers a variety of leisure activities and relaxed living in the countryside. The Elbe dyke is ideal for hiking, skating and cycling. The outdoor pool with beach volleyball court, 2 km of sandy beach as well as museum and various club activities and inviting gastronomy complete the leisure offer.
From Stade or Dollern take the S-Bahn (HVV), by car via the motorway network from the Dollern exit, or via the Obstmarschenweg via the BAB7 exit Waltershof to the city of Hamburg. From Lühe-Schulau ferry in Grünendeich you can quickly reach Wedel and the west of Hamburg via the Elbe.

Wunderbare Ferienwohnung im Alten Land
Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung. Die Lage ist gut für jede Menge Ausflüge. Stade, Jork und natürlich Hamburg lohnen sich wirklich. Empfehlen können wir auch das Schwimmbad direkt an der Elbe.
Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet, alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Die Betten waren bequem und die Aussicht von der Terrasse wunderbar. Eine klare Empfehlung.

was für eine Aussicht...
Ein sehr netter persönlicher Empfang des Gastgebers, der uns dann mit Unterlagen und Tipps zur Umgebung versorgt hat. So war der Besuch von Hamburg sehr einfach. Auch die Infos zu den Restaurants in der Nähe waren sehr hilfreich.
In der Unterkunft ist soweit alles vorhanden. Im Sommer ist es sehr warm, vor allem im Hochbett. Da hilft dann nur Querlüften - da es leider keinen Insektenschutz vor der Terassentür oder an den Fenstern gibt, muss man dann schon mit ungebetenen fliegenden Gästen rechnen.
Auch eine Verdunkelungsmöglichkeit im Schlafzimmer ist nicht vorhanden - falls also jemand nicht von der Morgensonne geweckt werden möchte, bitte eine Schlafmaske mitbringen.
Über die ausgezeichnete Internetverbindung haben sich unsere Kinder sehr gefreut ;-)
Wir haben es sehr genossen, von der Terrasse aus den herrlichen Blick über die Apfelfelder schweifen zu lassen.

Fahrradwoche im Alten Land
Die Unterkunft entspricht der Beschreibung. Gute Ausstattung, Dusche und Toilette könnten erneuert werden. Ruhige Umgebung, idealer Ausgangspunkt für schöne Radtouren. Der Aussenbereich des Feriendomizils wirkt etwas vernachlässigt. Unterm Strich waren wir aber zufrieden.

Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt
Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir waren mit 2 Personen zur Obstblüte hier. Die Fahrräder können sehr gut in separatem Fahrradraum abgestellt werden. Den Ausblick über Wiese und Obstbäume zum Elbdeich und den Aufbauten der grossen Schiffe haben wir genossen. Check in/Check out und Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter einfach und problemlos. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schöne Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage
Die Wohnung ist schön geräumig, sauber, mit allem nötigem ausgestattet und in sehr schöner ruhiger Umgebung gelegen. Es gibt in der unmittelbaren Umgebung nur sehr begrenzte Möglichkeiten auswärts Abendbrot zu essen, sodass wir ca 10 Minuten in die nächste Stadt gefahren sind, wo es sehr schön war. Man sollte auf jeden Fall ein Auto oder Fahrrad einplanen.
Wir sind mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden gewesen.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, konnten auch schon etwas eher die Wohnung beziehen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es entspricht alles dem Inserat.
Vom Vermieter erhielten wir gute Tips, wie man am Besten nach Hamburg kommt.
Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer ruhigen Straße mit tollem Blick über die Obstplantagen. Nette Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe und sehr zu empfehlen.
