Lakeside Paradise!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lakeside retreat! Rene was quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay! Loved hopping into the hot tub right outside the bedroom door. Comfy beds! Beautiful scenery! Thank you Rene for a nice stay!

Weekend Getaway

This was an absolute gem of a find for a weekend getaway. We all lead very busy lives these days and it is nice, at times, to stop and take a breath. We had a fantastic porch view of the lake and could just sit and catch up with friends for a long weekend while enjoying the water view just feet from us. The house was spacious and well laid out and we had complete privacy. The property manager was spot on as there was new construction close by and walked us thru all of the temporary changes to our route to get us there. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to relax and take a breath but it is still close enough to go out for activities if desired. I certainly would stay here again. Chuck

Beautiful Property

The perfect spot for a quiet, peaceful getaway. The property is located in spot easy for swimming or boating and provides plenty of space for outdoor relaxation in either the hot tub or the outdoor living spaces. We enjoyed our relaxing stay.

Amazing Lake Side Home

Our visit to Lake Wylie was fantastic. The property was immaculate and beautifully furnished and so organized. Our hosts, Renee and Wayne thought of everything! Their local knowledge of pickleball courts and great restaurants ensured a good time was had by all. The supplied kayaks were a fun way to explore the lake. We can't say enough good things about renting here. We will be back! Thanks again Renee and Wayne for making our stay so wonderful.

Wonderful Respite for Family Visit

My dad, brother and I came to North Carolina to visit family, and we had a relaxing time at this beautiful rental. We loved the kayaks and standup paddle boards, and we loved the porch, overlooking the lake. Communications with Rene were perfect. All was perfect, actually. The rental is well stocked, and we were very comfortable. We highly recommend this lovely lakeside nest for a cozy and comfortable stay.

I’m Rene your host! Originally from Baltimore MD, my family moved to Charlotte for the “Carolina Blue skies” and Southern hospitality. My husband and I have been managing long term rentals for 25+ years and have really been enjoying hosting! Currently we are semi-retired and enjoying our first grand baby and children that live nearby.
We are blessed to receive Super Host status on a well known short term rental platform. We are excited to share the ambience and amenities with our guests and hope that you will trust us to provide you with an amazing stay.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I recently bought this lake front property , previously owned by Clemson University. We are active senior citizens and are semi-retired to get away from the stress of our career jobs. Just looking at that like is very relaxing and therapeutic for us. We have put a lot of blood , sweat & tears and hard work into updating the property. We have really enjoyed sharing the lake with friends and family and want to extend it to our guests. We live in the top level of the main house and are very respectful and discreet while guests are on property. Guests will have the entire lower level w/private entrance to themselves as well as a covered porch. Dock and pergola are shared with owners.

Centrally located to everything you will need but secluded and quiet setting.
There is a detached cottage on property (Airbnb) that can be available to rent in addition to this space for large gatherings.Great for family gatherings, weddings etc.
