A vacation for two... under a thatched roof



The Wiethäger Katen is located between Rostock and the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula on the Baltic Sea.



Our house offers two cosy holiday apartments. They are bright and welcoming. The Katen is situated in a quiet location right next to the forest.

The EULE holiday rental, with a pleasant view of the forest, accommodates 4 people, and our HIRSCH holiday rental is equipped for 2 people.

Both rentals are pet-free and smoke-free.







Nature lovers will find plenty to enjoy here in both summer and winter. Wiethagen is a place of tranquility. Relax in any season and experience nature and regional culture here with us. In no time at all, you’ll forget your everyday worries and switch to relaxation mode.



We always welcome couples and families with children. Our visitors appreciate the relaxed atmosphere. Depending on your preferences, you can find peace and seclusion here, as well as lively entertainment or athletic activities.



The beach is just a few minutes away by car. You can also walk or bike along the newly expanded bike and hiking trails to reach the long, white sandy beaches, enjoying nature and breathing in the Baltic Sea air along the way.



The property features a ping-pong table and a dartboard. The large lawn also offers plenty of space for ball games such as badminton or volleyball.



Seating is available for breakfast in the sun or a glass of wine in the evening. The Wiethäger Katen also offers a cosy barbecue area by arrangement.



Car and bicycle parking spaces are available for our guests.

Sehr schönes, sehr gut ausgestattetes und geräumiges Aptm., sehr ruhig, direkt am Waldrand und trotzdem alles was man braucht im Ort; sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, alles bestens zum Wohlfühlen!

Absolute Erholung!

Ohne Fahrräder nicht so empfehlenswert! Ansonsten sehr erhohlsam. Es standen Liegestühle, Grill und Tischtennisplatte zur Verfügung. Man konnte draußen in der Sonne frühstücken. Die Wohnung war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hatte sogar eine Spülmaschine. Sehr nette Vermieterfamilie. Man fühlte sich gut umsorgt. Ein wunderbarer Urlaub, coronagerecht!

Schöner Sommerurlaub unterm Reetdach

Es gab einen herzlichen Empfang und man fühlte sich sofort wohl. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe vorhanden und das Meer ist mit dem Rad gut erreichbar. Durch die ruhige Lage kann man sehr gut entspannen.
