A summer - and winter wonderland in the Bavarian Forest Geiersthal region rain, skiing, ski trails and lifts.
Forests, meadows, quiet - pure relaxation. If that's what you're looking you are in our house surrounded by National Park Bavarian Forest, Geiersthal is a small attractive town in Lower Bavaria in the district of Regen and nationally recognized resort. Relax, leave and strengthened back away from it. The house is located on the outskirts in a quiet area, on a beautiful, sunny plot near the forest, accessible by a gravel private road. Whether food, fashion or electronics - you have lots of shopping in Geiersthal and the surrounding area, so little time must be used in the self-catering. The town center of Geiersthal with all the shopping is within walking distance.

Wenigstens der Nachbar war nett!
Das Haus müffelt stark! Die Zimmer sind unglaublich voll gestellt (Wohnzimmer von ca. 4,5 x 6 m mit drei großen 3er Sofas, einem riesigen Sessel, einer großen Kommode und einer großen Truhe als Tisch plus dem wirklich schönen Kachelofen und einem wirklich riesigen Fernseher aus den 80ern der nicht funktioniert), da bleibt wenig Raum!). Auch die Küche ist ein Sammelsurium verschiedenster Generationen an großen Mengen von Geschirr und Zubehör.
Fernsehen ist nur schwer möglich, eine deutlich in die Jahre gekommene SAT-Schüssel mit lockerem LNB, einer Zuleitung ins Haus aber drei Fernsehern (und ein SAT-Kabel!). Eine große Anzahl von Fernbedienungen mit leider zu nur wenigen dazu passenden Geräten (Fernseher/Receiver).
Der Wäschetrockner lief dann auch, als wir endlich eine angeschlossene Steckdose fanden.
Gelegentlich macht die Heizung Geräusche wie im Hollywood Film, nach langem Suchen haben wir dann die Ursache gefunden.
Eigentlich ein sehr schönes Haus, wenn mal in die Infrastruktur investiert würde und der Mief entfernt werden könnte!
Aber der Nachbar ist extrem nett und hilfsbereit, die Gegend ist super toll!

Werter Urlauber, ich war 2 Tage vorher im Haus und habe alles für Ihr "kommen " vorbereitet. Natürlich ist die Luft abgestanden, wenn ein Haus nicht dauernd genutzt wird, zumal ich in dieser Jahreszeit, hier ist -10 Grad normal ist , kann ich nicht die Fenster einfach gekippt lassen.Auch habe ich den Kachelofen 2 Tage vorher angezündet und mit diesem noch zusätzlich gut geheizt, dieser hat auch einen Eigengeruch. Der abgestandenen Luft kann aber denke ich doch durch lüften abgeholfen werden.
Mein Haus ist für maximal 4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder , also 8 Personen ausgelegt und natürlich sollten dann, meiner Meinung nach, im Wohnzimmer , wie auch in der Küche ausreichend Sitzgelegenheiten , mit genügend Platz, zur Verfügung stehen., damit sich meinen Gäste wohlfühlen können. Das selbe gilt auch für das Geschirr bei 8 Personen, im Maximalfall Morgens , Mittags , Abends, da reichen nicht nur ein paar Teller, Topfe und Tassen, da braucht man schon alles zig fach ! Die SAT Schüssel ist erneuert ! Was den Trockner angelangt, der ist übrigens nagelneu, es sind neben dem Trockner eine 3 er Leiste mit Steckdosen, genauso wie eine nagelneue umweltfreundliche Heizungs Therme installiert ist. Ich habe das Haus liebevoll eingerichtet , da an nichts fehlen lässt, das haben mir meine Gäste auch immer wieder bestätigt ! Und falls jedoch ein Gast ein besonderes Anliegen hat, ist ja auch vor Ort ein Ansprechpartner da!
