The house was very clean and well kept. High end appliances were easy to use. Peaceful location, with a creek running nearby. The handmade soaps were a nice thought and added to the coziness of our stay. The host provided clear communication regarding the home which contributed to a stress free stay. We plan to return in the future.
Fantastic stay! The house and surroundings are beautiful and Peg is a wonderful host!!!

Thank you Colleen. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay.
An unforgettable trip to celebrate my husband's 50th and our daughter's 17th birthday. We are a family of 5 who flew in from FL and used this location to explore the Grand Teton and Jackson Hole area.We were supposed to fly into the West Yellowstone airport (flight delays forced us to Bozeman). lt was about a 2 hour drive from WYS airport and to the West Yellowstone entrance (from Bozeman 3.5 hours - more at night). This beautiful home was an ideal location with a 45 min drive using the Grand Teton pass. (I come from flat FL so if I can handle driving through the pass, most others will be fine too, slow and steady.) There is also plenty to do within Victor & Driggs. We hiked to the Darby Canyon Wind Cave on our first day. There is a grocery and a hardware (bear spray) store a few miles from the home to stock up on provisions so you can cook meals in the wonderfully equipped kitchen. The beds were comfy. The water was wonderful, shower was hot. There is only one bathroom but we made it work just fine with 2 teenage girls and 3 adults. Having the ability to wash & dry laundry is always a plus in my book. We didn't use the television too much but it is available if one desires. We enjoyed playing cards together on the porches. The views are fantastic. Solo coffee on the side porch early in the morning to watch the humming birds is a peaceful way to start the day.Communication with the host and care taker was fast and efficient. And of course we loved Gus
Excellent place. Quiet, great views, has all amenities needed. About a 35 minute drive to Jackson. We would definitely stay again! Gus the dog is super friendly!!
My two adult daughters and I spent 5 fun packed days here. On our bucket list was to hike in The Grand Tetons. This place was a perfect spot to relax after our long hikes and was not far from anything we wanted to do. The food in town was awesome too! We are already planning our next trip!
We loved our stay at this beautiful home at the base of the Teton Mountains! Great hosts, wonderfully well stocked and with comfy beds, excellent communication! We cannot wait to return! Highly recommend!
The property was as described in a tranquil location around 1h from Grand Teton National Park. The facilities were excellent and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc.Scout responded promptly to our questions and Mike and Gus (their dog) were on hand if needed. The location was quiet with great views across to the Big Hole Mountains during the day and starry nights when the clouds allowed.Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable stay in an ideal location.
This is a 10 star property! Craftsmanship completed by Mike (host) is outstanding and very well furnished for a relaxing stay. The gourmet kitchen does not disappoint. Location was perfect for exploring the western side of Grand Tetons, including several National Forests with wonderful hikes. Very quiet location located between Victor and Driggs, ID, Best of all, cabin surrounded by mountains offering amazing views.
Stayed 5 nights, place was clean, quiet and secluded. Had everything we needed to relax after visiting Teton and the surrounding area. Would definitely stay again!!!!

We loved our stay at this lovely home and looked forward to getting back from our busy days exploring the Grand Tetons park and surrounding areas and relaxing here. Although the drive was about an hour to the national park, we felt it was worth that drive to base ourselves here.
The property and location was perfect. The home exceeded our expectations! Beautiful views and very private. The hosts went above and beyond! We highly recommend the property!

A very special space that will leave a lasting impression. Enjoy the quiet mornings and pristine air. Close enough to Victor and Driggs so that it is convenient. Great upscale kitchen with everything you need. I have never seen a better equipped kitchen in a rental property. We’ll come back for sure. The kids will miss Gus the dog for sure!

About the host
Hosted by Scout Invie
Originally from Minnesota, Mike and his family have lived in the Tetons for over 35 years, building artisan homes on both sides of the mountain range for over three decades. Mike lives in the attached apartment with his friendly dog named Gus. Mike is a local architect, contractor, potter, and furniture builder. His daughter Scout, who helps him organize Vrbo bookings, is an artist and currently lives in Salt Lake City, but comes up to the Tetons any chance she can get. We hope you will have a lovely stay in our cozy one-of-a kind home.
Why they chose this property
We are centrally located. 6 Miles to Victor, Idaho, and 6 miles to Driggs, Idaho. The home is a 30-minute drive to the Grand Targhee ski area and a 40-minute drive to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Don't forget Yellowstone—it's a hop, skip, and a jump away (2 hours). There are just as many fun, outdoor activities to do on this side of the Tetons without all the craziness of Jackson Hole. Awesome restaurants in both Victor and Driggs (our favorite is Teton Thai!), and plenty of hiking, biking, fishing, and skiing.
What makes this property unique
This home is located off a quiet, dead-end road. Enjoy the peaceful sound of Fox Creek with beautiful country road walks right from the front door. Enjoy spectacular views, and gorgeous sunrise and sunset skies of both the Tetons and the Big Hole Mountain ranges.
We are outside of both towns, which means stargazing from the back patio is incredible. Abundant wildlife—moose, deer, elk, and fox—frequent the property. Hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and skiing trails are close by. If you want peace and quiet but don't mind a short drive to the small towns of Victor and Driggs, or the nearby Jackson Hole, this is the place for you.
