Perfect Getaway

Perfect house if you are looking for a relaxing getaway with a lot of space. Exceptionally clean and decorated with care. It was great to relax in the hot tub after a day at the slopes. I can imagine it is a fun summer vacation spot as well. Plan to book again in the future.

WONDERFUL amenities in the Big Bass Lake community!

Plenty of room for our family of 12. Hot tub was a highlight and the reason we chose this home! Owners had much more included in the home than advertised (high chair, toys, tons of games). The guitar was also a family favorite!

Fun Family Getaway!

My family of 11 really enjoyed our stay! Very spacious and kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed playing games at the kitchen table while we had a fire lit. The jacuzzi felt great, perfect after a day of skiing. Nani was very responsive to all of our questions. There are a lot of entrances to this community but the address you need to check in is 1 Big Bass Drive, (this is also where you will bring your garbage/recyclables) when we pulled up to the gate they had the wrong guest names but security was able to fix the issue and get the proper guest list of names. Thank you for letting us rent!

My worst ever vacation experience

Yesterday, I returned from the worst rental experience of my life. Arrived at entry gate of the Big Pass Pond, held up at the gate for 30+ minutes. Our host hadn’t sent proper paperwork to community (or any paperwork) .Enter 1st floor kitchen, rancid smell. Fridge has expired food. Moldy onions/potatoes sit in kitchen cabinets. Freezers filled w/ boxes of ancient food..Crowded fridge/freezer space means we can only use 70% of space. bathroom has black mold. bunk bed bedroom FILLED w/ black mold. Water damaged walls. Water damaged floors, so doors don't close properly. Downstairs kitchen flooded every morning. Sliding screen door broken. Hot tub has leaves, bugs, and green water. Wifi doesn’t work for first 36 hours. Host is not fluent in english. Host forgot to pay the electricity bill, power to be turned off. Host illegally rented us house. We contest quality of home and host’s behavior. Host laughs off our complaints. I call VRBO support-- they don’t help. Host accuses us of being children, (all 18+ adults), she then hangs up on me and mocks me over text. So now I am here, having just written a 7280 character review that I had to cut into VRBO’s 1,500 character limit. Nani, if you refuse me my rightful refund, I will do anything in my power to make sure nobody rents this nightmare of a home ever again.

I hate to say that, but you are such a liar, you apply as an adult application at VRBO and you were kids, I don’t know how VRBO give promotions on your age, I got $1,100 violations from you, you were under age drunk and police went in my house, you destroyed my house , I was so nice to you, I let you in earlier, I was communicating so good and you lied to me, you were kids and you told me you’ll be 5 adults and 2 kids, I’m very disappointed with VRBO also, I don’t feel safe to rent at VRBO anymore because of you My recommendation to an other hosts should be be careful with those kids. They aren’t in the age to rent houses. They rent seven deferent houses in community, they all get same violations as me. I never got complaint about my house from an other guest. You can check comments below my listing. House is very spacious and clean with amazing backyard and hot tub. I hope I’ll get refund from VRBO , because it’s not fair for me.

Great house!

This is a great property for a nice weekend getaway. There is plenty of space on 3 floors. We really enjoyed the hot tub as well. Nani was very helpful and responded to some of our questions while we were there. The stars are amazing at night. The photo of the deer in the listing is real; on two different occasions we were visited by several deer on the property. We would definitely stay here again!

Fun Weekend Getaway

This home is located in a nice, safe, and clean community. We had a good time during our stay and enjoyed the included fire pit and hot tub. There were extra activities offered by the community at an additional charge. The host was very responsive to our questions and very nice. I would recommend this rental.
