The bedrooms are quaint and comfortable. The house is well maintained and the kitchen fully stocked. We ended up not using the hot tub but the kids enjoyed the fire pit. We even saw a bear bathe in the waterfall and climb the pine. The road and driveway are typical TN mountain roads - steep and narrow!! We did not love that, but the views were outstanding.
This house has a million dollar view and we experienced the Smokey mountains in the best way while here! This is our 4th visit and this house was by far the best experience.
Everything about the property was great. It was near the golf courses we were playing. The view was gorgeous. The bears did visit/entertained us. The owners did a great job in communicating.I would definitely book this cabin again.
Lovely cabin. The views are stunning. Loved how responsive the host was , communication was great. Saw bears every day of our stay. Plenty of room for all ten of us. Loved the garage game room and hot tub too!
Grandkids loved it. Plenty of rooms for kids to stay. Boys loved the pool table and ping pong table. The ladies enjoyed the hot tub. And everyone enjoyed seeing a bear cub play with a small tree next to the fire pit.
We enjoyed our stay very much! The owner stayed in contact with us when we reached out for minor issues. We appreciated that very much. The views were amazing! It snowed and it just looked so beautiful.
Probably the nicest rental I've ever stayed in, and very good value for the price. The "cabin" is beautiful, spacious and comfortable, with a very functional kitchen, 5 nice bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, fantastic porch and upper deck with amazing views, game rooms and other living spaces. The fire pit is nice and large with adequate seating. Screened in porch with hot tub is also very nice.
I have had some great stays in the Smokies, and this was the best. The communication from the host was perfect. The cabin was clean and the setting was very quiet. Wears Valley was beautiful as always. This is such a great location due to its proximity to Metcalf Bottoms, which is a semi-secret entrance into the national park. I did see 4 juvenile bears playing in the waterfall behind the cabin. They arrived shortly after I did, but left quickly. They did not return, I think mainly due to the almost constant rain during this trip.I hope to be able to return to this cabin in the future.
This cabin was perfect for our family of 8 —all adults. It had beyond the basic necessities and quality items as well. From the ninja blender to cooking utensils and other tools, this was probably the most well-stocked rental EVER! Will stay here again and again!
The cabin was cozy, comfortable and spacious. The game room with ping pong and pool table was a big hit with our boys. The kitchen was well equipped and open to the dining area and living room. The view of the mountains is amazing!
Close enough to everything nice porch, great easy fireplaces. Complete kitchen. Plenty of bedrooms blankets, pillows and baths for all. Lots of parking. We loved out stay.
Property is beautifully located, with relatively easy access. Communication with owner was remarkable and easy!! The listing said have cup of coffee in morning by waterfall, it only came on twice in a week, and it was middle of the day. Overall a great place for a family vacation, with plenty of room!!
Cabin is just like the pictures show with a gorgeous view of the mountains and nice and clean. Hot tub was clean and enjoyed by everyone. The kids loved the game room. We got the added pleasure of seeing bears right on the property which was an amazing experience. Host was very quick to reply back to any questions we did have. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.
We had a great time inside and outside the cabin. The game room was a hit and the puzzles and there was enough room for us to play our own games. We had lots of entertainment with the bears also. We saw bears and cub’s everyday we were there.
This place is absolutely fantastic. Spent six days and nights at this wonderfully relaxing cabin. Only disappointment was that we did not get to see any bears! This place is a real memory maker, and everything was exactly as advertised in the listing. Great host! Thanks.

Thank you for the kind words! Sorry you didn’t see any bears - they get shy during the colder months. Best time to see them typically is around July!
We had an amazing week! The cabin is very spacious with stunning views. There were 11 of us there for the week and there was plenty of room, we never felt crowded. Its close to the park and there is plenty to keep you busy in the area. The owners were great at communication and followed up to make sure we arrived and had everything we needed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cabin and look forward to returning in the future.
The cabin is great. On arrival there were towels in dryer and beer bottles beside the fire pit. We contacted to owner to make sure they were clean and for our use. His text was they should be clean. The washer would not wash clothes. It left detergent on them. The vent on microwave made loud noise and did not work. We notified the owner and he did offer to refund towels we had to buy for our stay. Only other issue was trash pickup. Not the owners fault but we could not find a place open to take the excess garbage. The cabin just needs small repairs. We absolutely enjoyed the stay and would recommend it. We had bear visit twice during our stay and that was pretty awesome.
We had a wonderful time, really enjoyed the game room and hot tub. An adolescent bear was determined to use the screen porch! he came right in though a hole he had previously made in the screen door on the porch and then went back out the screen door to the back yard, he returned another day and did not like that we had blocked his access, which was a bit unnerving. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware and lots of room for all 8 of us to sit comfortably at dinner.
Great property very comfortable. Beds were fine. Furniture was nice. (cleaners had missed a couple room with vacuum in basement). No mold or mildew. Well equipped house and kitchen. Kids really enjoyed the garage with ping pong and video. Kids and adults enjoyed the hot tub. Bears were friendly and entertained us. (We think we saw 9 bears including two cubs, two yearlings, papa and mama bear, and maybe three others. Great kitchen and a beautiful view. Talked with host Jay a few times and he was very responsive with help and answers.
The house was clean and very comfortable. We had 8 adults and 2 children ages 9 and 10. There was plenty of room for everyone. There was room for all of us to have dinner together. We especially liked the game room for the couple rainy days we had. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking, and the fire pit was awesome. We saw 3 bears in the propery during our stay which was very cool. Our location was also close to the National Park which was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.
