With its breathtaking views of the Pyrenees, Gîte de la Garenne is a large, detached family home, ideal for a rejuvenating holiday immersed in nature, comfort, and conviviality. Located at the crossroads of a region rich in discoveries, it offers direct access to the Via Garona (right outside the door) and is just 1 km from the Garonne cycle path and the greenway to Saint-Girons. For fishing enthusiasts, the banks of the Garonne and Noue rivers are nearby, while those with a thirst for discovery will appreciate the surrounding sites: Salies-du-Salat with its thermal baths, casino, and golf course (10 km), the pottery town of Martres-Tolosane (8 km), the Aurignac Prehistory Museum (10 km), Bonnefont Abbey (6 km), and the Cazères lake (15 km). The cottage has a private enclosed garden with a gravel courtyard, a terrace adjoining the kitchen, and a summer kitchen under a lean-to equipped with garden furniture, a barbecue built into a converted wood-burning stove, a refrigerator, and a sink. Pets are welcome. A beautiful enclosed pool area with a heated pool (open from June to September), secured by a sliding wooden deck, sun loungers, and an outdoor shower invites relaxation. Arranged over two levels, the house offers large open-plan spaces on the ground floor with a kitchen, dining room, and living room (with fireplace) in a row, a bedroom accessible to people with reduced mobility with a queen-size bed (160cm) and en-suite shower room/WC, a pantry, and a separate WC. Upstairs: Sun Room (queen-size bed, sofa bed), Children's Room (two single bunk beds), Balcony Room (queen-size bed, access to the covered gallery), shower room, separate WC. Wi-Fi internet access. Central heating via a pellet boiler and solar hot water reflect Henri and Maryse's commitment to the environment and responsible approach. They renovated this house with the dual aim of preserving the environment and ensuring accessibility for all.
