This little place is absolutely beautiful and it was so peaceful. I would most definitely recommend and we have plans on going back sometime in the near future for a longer trip.
We spent a week in the New River Gorge National Park area. The cabin on the mountain was the perfect spot for us to stay. It was cozy, clean, quaintly furnished, and full of all the comforts of home.
I highly recommend it.
I can't say enough great things about this cabin and the property!!! "Gods Country" We were able to really detach from reality and relax. We enjoyed relaxing around the campfire, reading and hiking through the woods. We counted 40 deer in our short stay! Would definitely stay again!!
My husband and I absolutely loved staying here and will definitely be back. The cabin was cozy, clean, and comfortable. It sits on hundreds of unoccupied acres of fields and forests, with some walking trails winding throughout. We had a great time exploring the land and having a peaceful weekend away from the busyness of our lives.
Our hosts were excellent, the cabin and property surrounding it spectacular! Truth in advertisement. My wife, me and our dog, Glovis, loved our stay. We were told we would be alone on top of a mountain, and we were!
Listing was as described. Owners communicated all the necessary details in a super responsive manner. Great escape from everyday life. Awesome spot for stargazing
We had an amazing time - the only negative was that i only booked 2 nights! The cabin is super cozy & inviting, very clean & has many nice touches that make it comfortable! The beds are extremely comfortable, the host is nice, pleasant, & responsive, the property is gorgeous & so peaceful...we really enjoyed our stay!!!
We truly enjoyed everything about this cabin! The location is secluded and quiet, and also close enough to go do sightseeing things during the day. Our favorite part was sitting on the screened porch listening to the birds and watching the bunnies, deer and fireflies. We didn’t want to leave!
just what we wanted. Very secluded, and very relaxing. The hosts were great and very responsive. If you are looking for a place to just enjoy the outdoors, stars, moon, birds, and deer.....I would certainly recommend this cabin
This cabin and its amenities, and its remoteness and beauty have to be experienced. It’s really out in the middle of nowhere, but you will still feel connected if you wish to be. The best way to enjoy this property is to go in expecting to relax, and spend some time there appreciating the beauty of God‘s creation. Just saying. Can’t wait to go back this summer!!
The only downside was that we couldn't stay longer! The cabin was even better than the pictures and just a little slice of heaven. The cabin has everything needed for a relaxing stay, it was clear that every inch of the space was carefully thought out to maximize space and create the perfect cozy atmosphere. Even our teenage son thought it was perfect!
We had a great time staying. The one way our GPS sent us the road ended up being closed, Omar contacted me right away as soon as I messaged him and gave alt directions. It was so nice and peaceful out there! Only thing was water filter under kitchen sink needed changed. Would def come back!
Cabin was small, quaint, extremely clean, and the attention to detail was very evident. Property owners obviously love their little slice of heaven and enjoy sharing it with others! Thank you for an excellent weekend for us to stay, unwind, relax, and connect with both each other and nature. We will be back {soon}!
I flew my girlfriend in from Honduras. She enjoyed the snow. First time she got to see it. This cabin really is private. I asked her to marry me there. SHE SAID YES. I will be going back there again. If you want to relax. THIS IS THE PLACE. We loved it. Plenty of wildlife to see.
This quaint cabin was a wonderful getaway for our 15th anniversary! It was the perfect blend of rustic and modern, providing a beautiful, secluded space to recharge and escape the intensity of the modern world, while still having things like Internet and television for when we wanted it. It was clean and well stocked with anything you could possibly need while away from home, and the location was peaceful and rejuvenating. The stars were just breathtaking at night! Highly recommend for those looking for a quiet getaway with the option of hiking and exploring the outdoors.
If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to come. The cabin in very nice, but small, like it says. The bed was a little small for us, but overall the cabin is well equipped. The screened in deck is also great, we spent a lot of time out there watching the wild life, which was abundant. We made a fire 2 nights, and the stars were amazing to view without the city lights interfering. The property is awesome, with trails and a pond also.
A very nice, super private secluded place, which is just what we wanted. Disappointed that we saw no wild life. The cabin has an issue with wasps and carpenter bees. We texted the host suggesting he get an exterminator, immediately. Summers County is absolutely beautiful.
The cabin was well-appointed and the bed was comfortable. Enjoyed the fire pit and the screened in porch, despite seeing a large black snake on it at one point. Most of the wildlife was benign though lol. Saw a lot of deer, rabbits, and large owls. The road leading up the mountain is very twisty and would be terrifying in bad weather; thankfully I had lovely weather. Our tap water was yellowish, which was concerning. We were very grateful for the water cooler. This cabin is perfect as a serene getaway.
