Isolated in the middle of nowhere

Barcelona by train 40 miles, not cheap Actual grocery store more than I could walk >1km One small window where you could see marina Plus points there were several nice restaurants in the marina, and a nice beach. The marina also had a laundromat instead of hauling clothes to the roof to dry on the rack.

Thank you for your stay. Please let me correct some details: - A little supermarket is within a 3-minutes-walk in front of the train station. - To Barcelona it is 10 miles not 40 miles. From our building you can see the City! - Train is very cheap if you take a 10-ways-ticket. - There are 2 windows of normal dimensions to see the Marina.

Our 20 days in El Masnou

Great location near beach and train station. Excellent restaurants in harbor area a short walk from apartment. La Yaci became a favorite of ours. The train into Barcelona comes about every 15 minutes and the travel time is about 20 minutes. We wish the mattress and pillows were more comfortable and that the beach chairs were not so bulky. Like most places in Europe, the rooms are all small and the spaces are just big enough to hold you. The outdoor shot with the views is from a common area on the roof and you have to bring the chairs up there to enjoy it. From inside the apartment, there is a nice harbor view through the dining room window.

Apartment is sufficiently equipped. Location is excellent for getting into Barcelona. However, proximity of rail and 4-lane busy road coupled with mediocre noise insulation makes it recommendable to bring ear protection. Sofa lounger is well-used. Parking of own vehicles can be a challenge in the narrow streets nearby - unless one pays for day tickets around harbour site. Un-Loading is cumbersome with vehicle squeezed onto the pedestrian walkway. Host is extremly friendly, helpful and very efficient.

Great beach location!

This location is very nice to be across the street from the beach and yet only an very easy 20 minute metro ride into Barcelona. We got the T10 metro card and stayed three nights on the same card. The host is very responsive and accommodating. There were several nice bakeries and cafes within a 4 block walking distance. We were not able to use the terrace while we were there due to maintenance but the host did her best to make it up to us. The bedrooms have fans which is nice since the AC unit is in the main room. Leaving the bedroom doors open at night to allow the AC to filter in was very useful I can say that after spending time in Barcelona, I appreciated staying away from the city a bit. It's much more peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

El aseo tiene esta forma porque es apto para minusválidos. Una pena que usted no lo ha reconocido. El ascensor no operaba solamente un rato corto, por desgracia en el momento de su partida. Las fotos son autenticas.

Barcelona Beach Beauty

I love Barcelona. The host was exceptionally gracious. Her written and verbal instructions started us on the right foot and everything in the apartment was perfect. Thanks Kirsten for the lovely place. Our 16 year old had a once in a lifetime experience at the beaches, restaurants, and trains. We'll be back.

Nice stay just outside Barcelona

Comfortable apartment to spread out and enjoy being right near the marina. Loved the view from the rooftop patio. Easy access to the beach across the street. A quick train ride into Barcelona and all the activities there.
