The area’s renowned beauty provides hiking along the Adirondack trails, beautiful Caroga Lake and Canada Lake for fishing or water sports just a 1/2 mile plus a game of golf as house sits across hole 7 in a wooded golf course. Enjoy historical cultural highlights in Johnstown and Adirondack Museum or spend the day in Saratoga Springs in just 40 minutes with credible shopping, historical racing, amazing restaurants and breweries. Like winter sports, house sits along several snow mobile trails, ski mountain just 2 miles away and access to 5+ incredible lakes for ice fishing. Or just stay in and relax by the camp fire, grill on either 1 or the 2 decks or enjoy the fireplace.

Outstanding Brookside Retreat

We felt very relaxed and comfortable at this quaint cabinesque home near the babbling creek. Every comfort of home was available and the tranquility of the location was simply amazing. Our Hosts were readily available during our stay and made every effort to ensure a pleasant experience.

Quiet quaint home

Thank you so much for your great home with the soothing creek in the backyard and location close to Caroga and Canada Lakes. We appreciate access to the home prior to the 4p check-in time and checking to see if we needed anything. Your communication was excellent and service outstanding. The home was so generously appointed - we really appreciated things like spices, condiments, tons of glassware, serving dishes, extra blankets, shampoo, soap, etc. Truly a wonderful rental.

Excellent choice!!

This house exceeded all of our expectations. It has everything what a family needs to stay. High end linens, Upgraded kitchen with fully stuffed pantry. Very clean and cozy house. It has some board games, lots of space around the house and a small garden. In fact we used some herbs and tomatoes in our stay. Most of the time we enjoyed back side of the house. A small stream running behind the house and its super scenic. There is a restaurant in a walkable distance to the house and we loved it. Not so expensive. Caroga is a small town with many lakes. My kids are already asking to go back to the "Vacation House". I will surely book again during the fall for foliage. Overall we loved the house and our stay. Very comfortable and relaxing.

Cute cabin in a cute town

It was a great location with beautiful decor inside, the hosts have really done a lot to the property. The campground down the road was great for the kids to swim and the back deck was sublime. Thank you 😊
