We really enjoyed our stay here! Perfect comfortable space for our family to just spend time together. The state park right next door was great for outside time, and it was close enough to even venture towards St. Louis for a day.
Stayed at the cabin while visiting relatives. Very comfortable and spacious -plenty of room for everyone. Love the wrap around deck and the outdoor space. Hosts were very responsive and helpful.
Nice house across the street from Cuivre River State Park
A friend and I stayed for easy access to Cuivre River State Park. This house delivered -- a short walk from the Old School hose trail. Also, multiple outdoor sitting areas, including a charcoal grill and fire pit.
A beautiful house and great host that was easy to contact and quick to respond to any messages we sent. Location is great for exploring Cuivre River State Park.
A group of us stayed here to attend a co-workers wedding. The house was a perfect fit for our group. Quite and serene location, close to Troy, and plenty of amenities to enjoy.
My family and I enjoyed our stay. Location is great. We were going to the St. Louis but wanted a quieter area to stay and this place did not disappoint. Serene locale yet mere minutes away from Troy and its numerous amenities. No issues, would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.
Very nice job of refurbishing the house. Quiet neighborhood and not too far from Troy. We didn't use the kayaks but they were there to use. The house is close to Cuiver River park. We will definitely consider this place on our next trip to Troy, Mo!
The cabin was super cute and perfectly roomy for our group! The only thing that docks this rating from a 5 to a 4 is the lack of a dishwasher, so we had to wash all our dishes. Also, the upstairs queen/full bed was not very comfortable.

We take all reviews seriously and value feedback from our guests. Although our listing clearly stated that there was no dishwasher, we decided to add a countertop dishwasher after receiving this review to enhance our guests' experience.
Accommodated all of our family from out of town to attend our wedding anniversary party. Decorated very well with bonus of hostess providing multiple snacks.
Had a wonderful stay after doing the hotel route for this trip too many times it was nice to spread out in this spacious home. It was close to where we were visiting, so it was very convenient. Too cold for the river but might have to try that at a warmer time
Went for a New Years getaway with our daughter and friends
Everything was like walking into home from the first step into the property. It was clean, comfy and the added touches from the host topped it all off......from the slippers, we'll stocked kitchen and the added New Years treats our host left!
Quaint semi rural area perfect for a quiet time, amenities perfect, very clean, inside was clean and beautiful scenery.
The only problem was the Vrbo app made it very difficult to communicate with the owner....0 points for the app.
Nice place, Unfortunately we were not able to use the kayaks due to weather and other activities. The one kayak was full of water. Overall it was good

Why they chose this property
The 70's Park Side cabin is great for a weekend getaway or family vacations. It offers the "glamping" experience. Cuiver River State Park is a wonderful place to go hiking, camping, kayaking, and have pictures taken. We love the park so much we even had our wedding photos taken here.
