Elena's cabin was exactly as advertised. My family loved: the huge yard, quaint bear theme, proximity to town, Elena's communication skills, EV charger. We'll definitely be staying again!
My wife, dog, and I spent three days in this awesome little cottage on our recent first visit to Idyllwild...The place was so charming, with a rustic vibe, but with all of the modern conveniences and basic supplies you could want or need...The backyard is huge, with pine, oak, and other trees providing shade while we sat and watched our dog, Cooper, run wild, chasing squirrels and birds in every direction... It is a short (quarter mile or so) walk to downtown Idyllwild, with its shops and places to eat. The hosts were unobtrusive, but readily available for any questions or needs... All three of us LOVED our stay here and hope to be back some time in the future...
Wonderful stay! Vintage cabin vibes with modern conveniences. Great location- easy to walk to trails and downtown. We spent most of our chill time on the back deck which was eye level with trees- so bird watching was great. The fully fenced in yard is huge! The dogs got their zoomies on every morning- note- there are 2 sets of stairs from the deck- one is meant for little legged dogs and made yard access for our low-rider pup easy. Highly recommend and our host Elena was amazing!
We had a very nice stay. Great place for a small family and two dogs. Only a 10-minute walk to town. Very clean cabin with large, fenced-in backyard. Host was gracious. A lot of attention to detail, and loved the teddy bear theme.
What a beautiful, clean and fun place to stay in Idyllwild!!! This cottage was perfect! Super close to town yet far enough to feel isolated. They left us wood for the fire and clear instructions for everything we needed. We’ve stayed in a bunch of homes throughout Idyllwild and this one topped them all!Thank you again! We’ll sure be back!
This is a cute cabin to stay at. It's got all the kitchen amenities you need. The fenced backyard is great for our dog. The host was super responsive and even gave us a bottle of champagne for the new years.
We booked this cottage for a few days on Thanksgiving. The kitchen had everything we needed from spices, utensils, cooking equipment etc. We could not have asked for a better experience!
We had a wonderful stay at Honey Bear Cottage. Elena and Harold are outstanding hosts—friendly, highly responsive, and proactive communicators. They even came to our rescue immediately when we managed to lock ourselves out! The cottage is charming, well-stocked, and full of thoughtful amenities. We loved the stone fireplace, and the level 2 charger was a significant plus! Overall, fantastic hosts and home!
The cabin is so sweet. It’s location is fantastic, and communication with the owners was fast, clear and positive. Thank you for the hospitality, highly recommend!
We were impressed with the entire environment! We were impressed with how well the fireplace drafted to provide warmth and a cozy atmosphere. It was a perfect yard for our pups. The owners thought of everything to make it a fabulous stay! We will be back!!!
We very much enjoyed this well-appointed home! It was a short walk to town which we loved. The kitchen had all we needed. The backyard is huge…it was very cold when we were there so did not enjoy it as much as we’d have liked, but would love to return in the summer. The cottage is very pet friendly and the Ev charger was super helpful for us. We would definitely return!
