Frat House

Long story short, we had originally booked this place with a bunch of complications from management cancellations for apparently no known reason other than miscommunication on their part. I walk in giving grace but this was truly a mess. We paid in full beforehand (getting cancelled then “oops, our fault come back”) The lady in charge was great and truly doing her best in getting it ready at quick as possible (I say shame on management) and we were in at about 8pm. The next morning… blown away by not just the property that had clearly been neglected over time (car bumpers in the yard, basketball goal laid down, beer cans everywhere, WAY untrustworthy hot tub, and neglected land in general.) And the house…God have mercy…. It looked like everything was purchased from 5 different estate sales and put in the house whether it looked good or not. Dated, super filthy feeling, grime and dust everywhere, non working TV and remotes. If a bachelor was looking for a bachelor party, then fine. But I would not be returning. I feel sorry for Evelyn, she was sweet but definitely overworked. The property’s ONLY perk was the view. But even that was tainted by a used unclean firepit annd beer cans with a very dumpy deck. I feel cheated even though we were offered a great discount for their mistake in booking….
