About this property

Watts Bar Lake-Waterfront Home

Get ready to be spoiled by Tennessee charm in this stunning lakefront home with a 4-mile view of the lake! Boasting fantastic architecture and a dark exterior that fits the landscape perfectly, even the most design-oriented guests will fall in love with this home-away-from-home.

This hillside property is a dream come true with a staircase leading down to the private dock and boardwalk on the water’s edge. Once you take the mini trek down to the dock, you will find kayaks and life jackets in the dock’s closet for family fun! When you aren’t taking advantage of the water for lake fun, the expansive upper and lower decks will be just the place to gather for alfresco meals or summer cookouts with the whole family! Enjoy the beautiful hot tub, grill your favorite foods on the grill (propane not provided) or sit around and enjoy the Solo stove(dont forget your firewood and starter) on the back patio while enjoying the lake view.

Though the beauty of the outdoors will be the main attraction, the interior of this retreat is just as incredible with high-end furnishings, contemporary décor, and loads of natural light that create an airy ambiance that is unmatched.

When meals come around, the home’s main level boasts a fantastic full kitchen complete with stylish tile, exposed shelving, and modern appliances that will welcome the culinary-inclined guests to whip up tasty recipes with ease. Step out on the deck to grill burgers using the infrared, propane grill (Propane not provided) while watching the sunset over the water. Off the kitchen, you can enjoy an eight-person dining table surrounded by views of the lake.
In this open-concept floor plan, you will find oversized sectional, cozy chairs, and a smart TV for streaming. Don’t forget to keep the portable speaker charged so you can enjoy it down by the lake as well!

On the main level, you will also find a built-in pantry and storage cabinet that houses beach towels for your use, a powder room, and the master bedroom ensuite. This master suite includes one king bed, a smart TV for streaming, a corner chair for reading, and a large closet for your luggage.

Upstairs, you will find two bedrooms, each fitted with a queen-size bed and ample room for luggage and other storage needs. These bedrooms share a full-size bathroom complete with a tub/shower combo lined with marble tile! A pack-and-play is stored in this closet for your use as needed.

Head downstairs from the living room to find a fully equipped game room with arcades, a foosball table, and a beverage station. Lounge chairs and a smart TV are set up and ready for the big game.

On the other side of the lounge area is ample space for the kiddos to unwind. Two full-size bunk beds sit side by side and will accommodate eight total.

The downstairs Master ensuite may have the best view of all. When you wake up and look outside, you’ll notice the beautiful lake view and surrounding trees. This king bedroom also has a twin daybed with a trundle for additional sleepers near their parents. The connecting door takes you to the bathroom fitted with a double vanity sink and black tile shower. All closets include one robe for those chilly nights and mornings.

The laundry room consists of a washer and dryer, cleaning tools, and extra linens. The WiFI router is in this room. We have provided the strongest service possible. The home is beautifully situated in the hills which means service can be spotty.

All stays include necessities you will need to get your trip started. This includes toilet paper, paper towels, black makeup towels, laundry detergent, dishwashing pods, cleaning supplies, K cups and creamer, and a welcome kit.

To get to the secluded lake house, you’ll experience a winding, yet beautiful drive lined with mature trees that canopy over the road. Once you reach the top of the hill, you will find The Perfect Tenn with ample parking space in the driveway and a level boat parking area.

No reception at the house. Description did say it could be spotty but we had no reception. Bought a couple of dvd players and movies. The floors were not cleaned.

Beautiful home with an incredible view on Watts Bar Lake
We really enjoyed our stay. It was our annual family summer vacation. Loved the contemporary feel of this home plus the view was awesome. Perfect if you have a boat and want a fun filled lake vacation. Our kids are all adults now but still enjoyed the game room downstairs. All of the beds are very comfortable. This is our 3rd time being on the lake with different homes and this one was by far the best of the three. Highly recommend this home PLUS the host Michelle was so great to work with. She was always there to answer questions and give us updates.

Great vacation spot
After 10 years of renting houses at the beach for vacation, my family decided that they wanted to do something different this year. And we're so glad we did! The house was perfect for our family of 10. And the property is gorgeous. We spent most of the days down on the dock or on the lake. We rented a pontoon boat for the week from Terrace View Marina, an awesome family run business. The lake was beautiful and not crowded at all. We went fishing, tubbing, cliff jumping and sightseeing. On the dock, we fished, swam, kayaked and just hung out together. The hiccups we encountered were the ice maker, the WIFI and the path to the dock. We got ice from Jerry's Bait and Tackle just up the road. The Wi-Fi is spotty at times but it does state that in the description of the place. My two teenage granddaughters were the only ones that had a problem with it. Haha! If you have any problems with mobility, like I do, you will need some help getting down to the dock. The path is a little steep and gravelly but, that didn't keep me from going down there everyday. A memorable time was had by all and we can't wait to come back!

Tennessee Getaway
The property was as listed in the photos. Some minor wear and tear but overall was as pictured in the videos. Pros: Beautiful view Access to Kayaks, floats and water toys Spacious for setlveral guests Cons: Wifi service is terrible. If you are planning to do a little work on vacation, think again.... There were only 2 lake towels. Instructions said to only use lake towels and not the white bath towels. I guess bring your own if you have a large.party??? Frequent power outages. Strangely, this occurred on day 1 and the checkout day. This made things very difficult to unpack upon arrival in the dark and feed the little ones with no appliances to operate to heat up food. Power came on after a few hours. On checkout day, the power went out just after 8am. Again, problematic because we still needed to make breakfast before the 10am checkout time and complete morning essentials like showering and brushing teeth for example. The house is on a well, so when the power goes out, so does the water. When asking the host for a late checkout, they were unresponsive.

My name is Melissa, a TX residence, born and raised! I am an interior designer and social media content creator-MelissaRobertsInteriors! We love coming to Spring City to relax and unwind. While in town we love going for hikes, renting a pontoon from the local marina, and breaking away from the hustle and bustle of work. We hope you enjoy this quiet, little town as much as we do!
