Great value

Clean and comfortable place in a nice neighborhood. The appliances in the kitchen worked fine, but we wished there were more (better) pots and pans to use. Otherwise this place is a great value.

Cozy flat in. great location

The rooms are small, but comfortable. The beds were soft and supportive so we slept well. The kitchen was adequate, but the pots and pans were well used. The refrigerator and freezer worked great, and the cupboards were well stocked with coffee, spices, and cooking oils. There was good off street parking. The shower worked great with plenty of hot water. At one point we locked ourselves out, and David responded quickly. He was an easy landlord to work with, and quick to respond to our needs.

Affordable and convenient

My wife and I stayed here for a week and had a good experience. I should preface this by saying this is not a luxury 5 star accommodation, but that's not what we were expecting nor wanting. It worked well for us, was very close to attractions (Alamo, River Walk, Missions trails, etc) Check in process was very easy with detailed instructions sent ahead of time. Wifi was solid. My wife and I both work remotely and had no problems. Off street parking was available. There is another unit attached this house, which we were not aware of until we received check in instructions. Not a big deal but just know you may have neighbors. For improvement - the kitchen could use a good cleaning, utensil drawers especially. Both the front and back storm doors are off center so you really can't use them without bugs coming in and outside air coming in. The unit has one wall mount heater in the kitchen/dining area. The other rooms can be heated with spaced heaters. My review on the neighborhood and area is mixed. It seemed relatively safe, but there was a drive by shooting outside a convenience store just a few blocks away on our second day there. Overall, I would recommend if you are looking for simple, affordable accommodations in the heart of San Antonio.
